The natives were rather simple people but didn't let newcomers scare them; they were couragous at heart and knew battle art. They quickly equiped in some knifes and spears and let the women and children go the huts they were leaving. One o the natives, maybe their leader went ahead, in curiousity and challenge in his eyes.

Anubis just commented "They don't know in what trouble they are putting themselves, we have Osiris..." and Osiris made such furious expression that even Set couldn't do such in a stormy day.

"I don't see anything funny in that statement, doctor" he said with clenched teeth and fists.

"Oh, come on, Osiris, don't be so angry, it was just a joke!" said Set laughing and putting his arm around Osiris' shoulders. "You see, when our doctor is joking, it's a really a feast, so bring these candies!"

Ra looked at Set with disbelieve. How could they just laughing like that on the mission? She smacked Set's head and narrowed eyebrows.

"Once again, behave, commander!"

Anubis laughed a little and patted Set on the arm.

"Behave, commander" he said to his ear and giggled. "Make a feast."

In this time when "gods" were talking, wildings came closer, looking even more dangerous. They all the time exchanged orders and now they started to surrounding Nagariyas from each side, slowly but still. Osiris was indeed the only one who has seen that and even tried to tell that to Ra but was ignored.

"And we are called gods...Maybe gods of stupidity..."

Set heard Osiris and made stormy expression. But he had right. They were right surrounded by natives.

"Crew, watch your backs..." said Ra, very carefully touching his back with back of Anubis. He felt like Osiris as always being gloomy, this time fired in the center of the target. Their own mistakes led to it. They always, so disciplined, during this mission, allowed themselves for jokes and losing attention. But they had Netjer, weren't they? "Set, show some of your powers, be useful...but very carefully."

"Don't fire up my arse, like two years ago" hissed Anubis to Set and took the hrizek, the normal nagariyan weapon based on sonic blasts. "If this won't succeed, I will throw their ears to the river like noone before!"

Of course he didn't understand natives' talking but he saw that they reacted at new weapon. They stepped back and started to scream in fury. "Now, Set!" whispered Anubis.

Set smiled to Anubis and made a mad grimace to Ra and started doing his "magic".

The sky started to be full of clouds and first drops ofrain fell on sand land. The natives startedtalking more vigorously and moved from the group of Nagariyas. Then clouds became huge storm clouds and a thunder went through the sky and the lighting hit in the group of savages. No one was hurt but most of them run. The chief stayed in the place along with (apparently) his young son. The teenager was curious and stepped to the group of "gods".

"Now, Anubis!" said Ra.

Anubis jumped to son of the chief of tribe and injected him imediately his own medicine, which allowed people from other planets understand they language. The son screamed, others retreated but when he fell on his knees, Anubis took his hand and looked into his eyes.

"Do you understand me, mortal?" he asked. The son's eyes widened as he understood the stranger who did this awful thing to him. BUt he didn't speak until Osiris didn't come up. "Speak, mortal, or you will feel the wrath of the gods..."

Set looked with amusement as Osiris starts to talk with native. "He will surely convert him on our faith" he whispered to Ra, who's brows were narrowed. "Let me talk with him with Anubis with me. He is best with first contact, not this specialist of despair..."

Ra knew that Osiris is the last person who should talk with afraid native but it was his job. Set moved to Anubis.

"Tell him something else" he whispered to the doctor. "I think he likes you!" and he giggled.

"Osiris, move on!" said Anubis to focused specialist from first contact and put the hand on his shoulder. "You don't see he is afraid?"

Osiris snorted. "He should be afraid, we are gods!" But Anubis shook his head with disaproval. "We should be merciful gods, don't you remember the orders?"

Anubis touched the head of the son. "Tell others that should come closer and we will teach them the language of the gods. Don't be afraid, we are good gods and we won't harm you."

The son of chief looked with fear at the Anubis and then he said something in his language and run to his friends. Then he started talking vigorously, trying to explain his people the situation.

"Good job, Anpu" said Set to his friend, using his nickname. "Osiris would make everything worse...as always!"

Ra looked at savages with concern on his face. "I am starting to think that this mission would be much more than they told us. Don't ask. When we turn everyone on our language, we will call the ship and contact with other crew members."

Osiris was furious. He stepped to Bastet and whispered "Don't you think that Set and Anubis trying to act like bosses?" but when lieutenant didn't answer he stepped to Apep. "Common, you have to see it..."

Apep nodded. He never liked Set and Anubis and would be happy if they lost their privilages. But said nothing, only smiledto Osiris but the one understood him without words.

Anubis looked at Ra. "Captain, share your concerns with us. We must know in what we are walking. Are these natives different than on other planets?"

"The reports were clear: the shouldn't be so savage" said Ra slowly. "They were supposed to have civilization able to make us temples. I think someone is messing with our mission."

Set was about to say that Osiris but was shut by Ra's lok.

"Captain, is we get wrong datas, we should 'strike' the base with complains!" said Osiris, looking with fury at Set who was smiling foolishly.

Anubis looked at him with disbelieve. "You are really the weak ring of the chain..." he sighed and said to Ra. "If someone in command want our mission fail, we will show them how the Team Ra works!"
