Thanks. :)

I miss you guys as well. I wish there were a lot more people on here and it would give my mind something more to look forward to. I should really get on more consistently.

I know what you mean, Jax. I wrote several character articles and was in charge of one of the official email accounts for this site for a while to try and revive it but it just wasn't happening.

:( Yeah, you did a lot and it was appreciated. (At least by me ;) )

It's just sad we can't draw more people in... To think forums are becoming a dying thing it today's world... :/ At least we still have as much going as we do! That's saying something for most fan forums this old.

I think the main issue is that LotR isn't a "thing" anymore. Not like it used to be, you know.

Yeah it is sad. It's like this on the other forum I frequent occasionally of a singer I like. I haven't been on here as much as well, just a lot of stuff to sort out.

Tolkien forums are soooo last decade, especialy as forums were the 'thing' around the time the Lord of the Rings movies were being made, and especially after Fellowship came out. Now... those movies are 15 years old and there are so many other things on the internet to occupy one's time... facebook... twitter... etc. Being a Ranger, I wander around the internet visiting many Tolkien sites, and I have to say that several once-busy sites now only have a hand full of dedicated patrons that regularly post. Many have shut down (Ringbearer), or just disappear when the domain expires. Me, I'll be around to the end.

I guess I might be more active here now that I've been banned from my main forum (more on that in the rant thread). Might look up some new forums too, we'll see.

Lol... yeah, I got banned from a Tolkien forum once 13 years ago.

I think the Tolkien forum that has the most activity is the Plaza.
