Description: Wears a long white dress with leather corset and riding boots. She has two swords elvish swords, which are usually crossed on her back so that the Mirthil hilts are showing above her shoulders. A Gondorian Solider sword and two hunting knives are placed in her belt.
Traits: A Fiery Rohan Spirit, Determination, an undying loyalty to her lands and friends, skilled with blades and horses, a clever mind, smart wit and a wry sense of humor.
Weaknesses: Gets hurt often by rushing into battle and her smart mouth gets her into quite a bit of trouble.
History: Eomira is the only child of Barahir, the grandson of Faramir, who wrote “The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen.” Her mother, Lady Hareth after several years still had not born the Steward an heir. So when she was pronounced with child, Barahir was ecstatic with joy. But when she was born, the Steward fell into despair and disappointment. As the only child, and a female she could not take her father’s role as Steward as such she was neglected by her father. Her mother took pity on her forsaken daughter and had the elves and the best teachers in the Woods train her daughter in weaponry in hopes that with her skill she would be able to catch the eyes of her father.
“Her father would never look her way. For truly she looked more like a Rohhirrim than a Gondorian. The Steward disappeared into his study and locked the door and for days he never once looked at his newborn daughter. In fact, when he did come out it was only to whisk his wife away from their child, for only the Lady Hareth could comfort his immense grief. The child was left to the Elves, and never truly knew her father.”
Eomira grew up with a bow in her hand and a sword in her belt. Her days were spent with the elves, as they trained her in the ways of Rohan, Gondor, and their own customs. Eomira proved to be extremely gifted as was said to have the skill of her great-grandmother, Eowyn in battle and combat as well as horsemanship. But despite her many skills, she rarely spent any time with her parents. Her father wanted nothing to do with her, and her mother thought it best if her daughter was raised by elves and elves alone. And so Eomira was secluded from her noble role.
“Eomira has never once been called Lady of Ithilien. Indeed the child is already 5 years of age and she has never fully heard her lists of titles. I do believe she thinks she is just a normal girl who roams the wilderness with elves. This of course is a child’s dream. To be carefree and free of spirit. The poor child has only seen her father a few times, and never asks for him. I do not believe she will ever completely except her role as a Lady, but will merely shrug it off and forget it ever existed, that much she has learned from her father.”
On one rare occasion while she was visiting Minas Tirith, Eomira was challenged to a duel by some youths, who did not know her identity as the Daughter of the Steward was rarely mentioned. Fired on at the chance that this would rebuild her father’s confidence in her she accepted. But the Elves had trained her far to well. Taken over by Battle Lust she unwittingly severely injured one of the boys. The people of the City revealed her identity and her outraged father disowned her and she was banished from Ithilien at the young age of 14, never to see the Elves that raised her or see her home ever again.
“Banished! The word spread throughout Minas Tirith within a day. The Steward’s Daughter nearly killed a young boy! She was thought to be dangerous. But to see the child’s face, pale as death and shocked at the own blood that was splattered upon her, you would have thought she had died and was still standing. The Steward’s Rage could be heard throughout the Upper Levels and soon, Eomira was gone, never to be mentioned ever again.”
She traveled on, alone, afraid and a known terror among the People of Gondor. Finally, she came to a small cottage in the Plains owned by an elderly couple. They welcomed her in gladly, not knowing her name or identity. During the night, a band of slavers barged in planning to take the couple and their young charge, but they never got to touch them. Eomira defeated them calmly and coolly and it was then that the couple realized who she was, they said this of her when she was in battle that night,
“Her eyes were like blue fire and her blades reflected in them as she twirled. Her long hair flew about her like golden flames. Her swords were like a blur of light and they sung as they flashed through the air. And so the Shieldmaiden Savior of Pelennor was recreated and no longer was she the small frightened child we took in, but a grown woman, perilous and filled with Battle Lust.”
Several years later, when news came to Minas Tirith of this mysterious warrior, Barahir was sent out him or her. But instead of finding a brave young man, he found his daughter, grown, perilous and a hero to all of the Villagers. Welcoming her back with open arms, Eomira was celebrated as a hero and offered a position as a Captain in the Gondorian Army.
“The Steward rode up to a small cottage where the Warrior was said to be staying, with a grand arrival he asked if the Great Warrior would step out and come to Gondor. He was shocked, when a young woman, nearly the exact image of his grandmother stepped out and said, “Hello Father.” Indeed the entire battalion nearly fell off their horses. Lady Eomira of Ithilien had been found.”
Tempting as the offer was, Eomira has spent too many years as a wanderer and alone, and despite her father’s welcome she suspected that the Madness of Denethor would return. She refused and instead chose the life of a forgiven yet an outlaw from her countries and homeland of Ithilien.
Recent Events

A dark shadowy shape had been seen near Eomira, until it finally showed itself. AlwaysWatching was set on taking Eomira, reasons still unknown. In a fight with the Shadow Eomira was wounded, and now carries a long scar down the side of her left cheek, from her eyebrow to her jaw. Her blades were taken away and she was left to die.
From the healings of many friends, in time her strength returned and she was ready to face her enemy once again. Concerned for her safety, a Captain of Gondor, instead did battle and for a time the Shadow seemed to have gone from the land.
Eomira had her mind set on a training academy, so that the fighting skills of the Elves would live on in the younger generation. In order to do this, she set off back to Minas Tirith. Her father, Barahir never asked for her presence so Eomira continually ignored the lack of attention and set her sights on accomplishing her goal.
She however was swarmed with attention for her mother and from the City and the Training Academy was reduced to nothing more than a distant dream. Fired with the ignorance of her parents about the matter she stormed into the Throne Room one day to speak to her father only to find him angrier and fiercer than ever.
Eomira demanded that she would be allowed to take leave to visit her Homeland of Ithilien. The Steward refused. In a bitter argument Eomira stormed out of Minas Tirith and rode straight into Ithilien despite her banishment.
Once she arrived she found her home destroyed. The Gardens had fallen into disrepair and the White House which once had been bursting with life was now merely a skeleton and empty shell where animals could reside. The Elves had left, driven from her Father’s cruelty. In her anger, she stumbled upon a battalion of guards, who had been set to arrest her. Not knowing at the time, they were her father’s guards she nearly killed them all and would have it she had not seen the White Tree upon one of the men’s chest. But the man also had something else; a scroll signing for her arrest by someone she had thought had been reduced to a nightmare.
<

The Shadow had returned, and it sent Eomira into turmoil and despair as she hid from her own soldiers in what was left of her child hood home. Struggling on what to do, the same Captain that so earlier battled the Shadow retook the City and the Shadow disappeared yet again.
Eomira was granted the Rights to her Homeland and was given the position of Lady of Ithilien. Still struggling with the grips of all the power that had been placed on her; she sought refuge in the Clearing and did not take her place as Caretaker.
But the Shadow would not rest. For many days it hid, thoughts of revenge bent on his mind. In short, he returned, but only to meet his end. Determined not to let any Shadow ever enter the Walls of the White City again, Eomira took her place as Lady of Ithilien, but hinted that she would only take the role for a short while, for the Restless Spirit still has yet to be tamed.
Eomira can often be found in the Clearing more often than in Minas Tirith, giving and seeking advice and helping out her many friends, such as Silmarwen Idril, Haldir Ithilien, Captain Aemornion of the Tower Guard, Nemue, and many others to numerous to mention but close to her heart.
Recent Events
With the unexpected birth of a brother to Eomira, she saw at last, a way to leave the post she had recently felt burdened carrying.
The people noticed it before her closet friends did. The Lady Eomira was tired of ruling, tired of governing, and above all deeply saddened by a secret kept close to her heart.
So taking only her weapons, Eomira left the White City and became an endless rover. The only thing that distinguishes her from a peasent is the one thing the people begged that she keep; The Stewardess Ring.

Ethalinia of the Houses of Healing
Age: 21
Appearance: Long black hair that she normally wears up in a comb, expressive hazel eyes, and a pale complexion.
Clothing: A long greyish blue dress normally worn by healers, sandals that tie around her shins. She wears a belt of grey rope, hanging from it is a small leather satchel that she keeps for herbs.
Characteristics: Shy, quiet, but smart and caring.
History: The grand-daughter of Ioreth, the Healer that assisted King Elessar in the Houses of Healing, she grew up among herbs, potions, and the gardens.
As a young girl her days were spent with her grandmother. She could often be seen dashing about on errands for her, and helping the children of the City. She has never gone beyond the shadow of Minas Tirith. But when the soliders ride out to Angmar, her brother Handion among them as a foot solider she is sent with him to be a healer and to keep an eye out for her headstrong brother.

I really, really like the bio. I can't put a finger on exactly what it is but the story just seems so credible - and within the frames of Tolkiens work. Eomira sounds like a person who have developed a lot because of her background. And most important (maybe!) despite of her life as a ranger and worrior she hasn't lost her warmth and female dignity. I kinda picture her as tough but still with this ready-to-play attitude because she didn't get to be a child when she actually was a child....
Well... it starts to make no sense at all.... just wanted to say it's a great story!

Hmm.... definetly thumbs up for the updated bio.

Looks like i will need to start fearing for my position in the ranks since another captain is abroad, and a female one for that matter *grins teasingly*

Just kidding Eomira.....very good job!

*blushes from compliments* thanks:D orginally she was going to be the daughter of Faramir and Eowyn but that sounds like it's been done awhile so I thought why not make her the great-granddaughter? :D glad you like it! *smacks Aemornion on the arm*

Awesome! I'd love to read it sometime. I wrote a story about my character, but never got beyond 35 pages... haha... I am writing a book now, however, that is going very well, and is actually 63 pages along.

Well, in my opinion you can get a bigger kick from it i you start from some lesser known geneolagy. The choice of having Barahir as your father makes more sence and i like it certainly more. And you go step by step in developing the character....... certainly love it :D
