James' eyes followed Dani as she left the room. He knew that, in her eyes, he was always guilty for everything. So why would this situation be an exeption? He threw his bag to a nearby table and turned away not quite sure what to say. He was still pretty much confused.
But as Lilly started talking, everything became crystaly clear. Still, he had hard time to believe in her words. A small smile appeared on his face as he turned to her. There was no doubt, she was mad. Very mad. But that fell in the second plan.
"You - wanted - to - ask - me?" he aked still trying to connect all parts. No, this sounded too good. Something was tellig him that the catch existed. His left eyebrow instantly raised and he looked straight in her eyes.

Lily felt like hitting him.

"Well, Potter, if you don't believe me? here I'll read the last entry in my diary, shall I?"

She pulled out a leatehr bound book an muttered something, to which it opened, revealing her diary. She started reading,

"Will he notice? I can't believe it. The Winter Ball is comming up and I still haven't asked James! He'll go with someone else if I'm not careful. I loved the way he stood up to Slughorn in class today. And the way his hair flops to one side, though that can be annoying. And he has the cutest eyes..."

There she stopped and thrust the book at him.

James didn't move from the place he was standing. Simply, he couldn't. The impossible thing happened and James Potter was really in deep shock. He caught the little notebook which Lilly threw at him and kept his eyes on her. She was thinking about him, and she was writing about him, she wanted to ask him to the dance... He shortly glanced at her diary which was now in his hands and then looked up at her again "When did this happen? This is the first day in this 6 years of our education that I didn't ask you out." he took a step forward and stopped right in front of her. His eyes were glinting strangely. He leaned a bit forward and kissed her forehead as he pushed the diary back in her hands "I think that we have to talk." he said moving backwards.

LIly rubbed her hand fiercly where he had kissed her and frowned. She stared into his eyes, angriliy,

"Fine." she said.

Sirius looked up and noticed that James had left, he looked at Remus and noticed he was busy, instead he grabbed his bag and walked out of the Great Hall.
Aimlessy he wandered through the corridors deep in thought and each time his thoughts wandered back to Danni, he shook his head trying to forget it when he walked into someone.
He looked up going to appologise but it was Danni, his immediate reaction was to insult her, but her stopped to think.
"Sorry Danni" he said quickly before carrying on his way.

Fiona sighed she was annoyed with herself for becoming a pawn in James' plan, and what was worse she had made her best friend cry by letting him kiss her.
She was frustrated and stood up.
"See you later Moony" she said and walked back up to the common room to find Lily to talk to her.

LIly spotted Fiona and looked away. After what had happened she didn't want to talk to her. At all.

Fiona entered the common room, immediatly she spotted Lily, she could see the pain in her eyes and this hurt Fiona as she turned away from her.
"Lily please listen to me!" she cried running over to her.

James slightly smiled as she said - fine. She was still in the room so that meant that she was willing to hear whatever he wanted to say. That couldn't mean bad thing, or could it? Either way, he had to take his chances. As he opened his mout to speak he suddenly heard footsteps behind him and soon enough, the footsteps were followed by Fiona's voice. Ok, she really couldn't pick worst moment...
He grabbed Fiona's hand and pulled her away from Lilly "Be careful." he whispered to her "I will explain this to Lilly and you can help me. Alright?" he paused and looked back to Lilly "So you all can be friends once again."
