Techonology does 1 of 2 things, in my opionin.

1. Makes life better
2. Takes life better

Sad really. I love Italy too. Lovely place, good food.

Ahh, the school History Day exhibit is coming up! I'm working on my exhibit right now, but I *NEED* to get to Wally World to get my supplies to make a shirtwaist!

Oh, the madness!

Then imagine if my exhibit goesto National? That would be scary...

@Curunír: The road I was talking about is an absolutely straight road from Torino to Rivoli. I think it's been built by Vittorio Amadeo II, duke of...er...Savoy?(In german it's Savoyen, dunno the english name), King of Sicily and Piemont-Sardinia... (If I remember it right...)...I think he also built the Castello di Rivoli...
Here are a few pics I took last year on my holiday in Italy:
Via.....darn, I forgot the name...it's that absolutely straight road!

Unless the land was quite flat it must have been quite a work since the road can`t exactly go everywhere like that...

I bet it was a lot of work. Well, it's not really mountains, but the land is not absolutely flat. But why do you think it's famous? Because it's straight, of course!

Yeah, I know. Uhm...yo you, by any chance, know anything about duke Finkenstein? I 'd really like to know more about him.... he was prussian and had a castle near Illawa (Deutsch-Eylau) and one near Sombrowo (sp?)(Sommerau) near the Bauernsee... But it's bee destroyed.... like so many things....
