Erik watched Christine, with a smile on his face. He never expected her to do something like that. He looked down to Margaret and wrapped his arms around her.

Christine continued glaring at Carletta and then pushed her hard. "I hate to break it to you Carletta, but your voice is awful! I'm surprised you haven't broken any windows."

Carletta was stunned by the woman in front of her. "You want a fight, eh?" She punched Christine in the face, intantly Raoul was at his wife's side. Margaret, who was wraped up in the Phantoms arms untwisted herself. She ran toward Christine and the old diva. "Stop that! Leave here! She was about to say soemthing else when Carletta pulled ot a gun and aimed it at Margaret.

Erik saw the gun, and instantly stood in front of Margaret. "You want to shoot her, you'll have to go through me first." He snarled.

Christine held her nose, as it was bleeding. She watched Carletta pull out a gun and gasped. "No! Don't shoot her!" She stared and then lunged at her, to try and get the gun out of her grasp.

((I was thinking that when Christine trys for the gun, Carletta accidently shoots, but it is off, yet she still hits Erik, I was wondering where you want him hit. He won't die, but if you want to make it really bad or just a wound that needs a small patch up, its up to you.))

((Well, just a small wound is fine. I guess in the arm is best for him. *nods*))

Margaret watched from behind the Phantom as Christine tried to get the gun. But Carletta refectively pulled the trigger as she went down. Margaret didn't want to know who was hit till she saw the Phantom's arm bleeding. "Erik." She gasped quiet enough no one else heard. The bullet had gone through, missed the bones and major veins, and had gon into the wall behind them. She didn't even notice it.

Erik groaned in pain and held his wound, tightly. He got on his knees and winced in pain.

Christine gasped, as The Phantom got shot. She looked to Carletta, with angered eyes. "How dare you!" She screamed and punched her hard in the jaw, while ripping the gun out of her hands.

Margaret fell to her knees beside him. Raoul handed her a few hankerchis widh she made into a bandage on the wound. "Its ok, she whispered words of comfort to her man. She kissed him and helped him up. Turning to Christine, she mouthed she was taking him home. Shad stopped calling it his home shortly after the twins birth, and just called it home now. Behind them the Police came in and areseted the former diva. Raoul went over to his wife. "Where are they going?" he asked nodding his head to where Margaret had gone, although he proberly knew where.

Erik walked with Margaret, in pain. He slowly made it to his lair and laid down on the bed.

Christine sighed and wiped her bloody nose. "Probably to his home." She sighed and watched Carletta be taken away with the police.

Margaret helped the Phantom lay in bed, and went to another area. Soon she came back wearing some of her regular clothes that she had kept down there, and she had brought bandages, as well as some water and wine. Carefully she got rid of the makeshift bandage, his coat and shirt, making her blush at the fact he was now shirtless. "Hold still Erik, this might sting." She warned as she poured some of the wine onto the wound. Seeing him flinch she held his hand. "It's alright. Just a small wound." She didn't want him to know she was still worried though, but her eyes, and voice, betrayed her.

Erik slowly nodded, as he was still in obvious pain. He gripped the blankets that were on the bed, and saw his knuckles turn white.

Christine needed some air, so she could blow off some steam. She was still quite mad about the whole situation, but she was glad that Carletta was now going to jail.

Margaret saw this as she bandaged his arm. Once done she took the blanket and covered him up. She hoped to god he wouldn't get sick, she was scared. Slowly she got beside him and lay on the side that the arm wasn't shot. "Please be ok." She mummered not realiseing he heard her. "I don't want anything more to go wrong."

Erik looked down to Margaret and smiled a little, despite his pain. "I will be fine, Margaret." He kissed her temple and then closed his eyes.

Christine felt her nose, to see if there was anymore blood left. There was still a bit, but not as noticable as earlier. She sighed, angrily.

Margaret smiled as she felt him kiss her. Also closing her eyes she whispered. "I love you so much Erik. I don't now what I would do without you. Everything is perfect, Christine is a Mother, I am a star, Raoul if finally leting me do what I wish and are getting along for once, and I have you. The man I love above all else." She sighed as she drifted into happy dreams.
