I think the funniest thing is during the Flotsam and Jetsam scene when Pippin picks up the apple and looks up to the sky exactly how he did in FotR.

I think one of the funniest parts in TTT is in the extended edition. As my friends and I call it: The cooking scene. But it is the scene when Eowyn gives Aragorn the soup and he doesn't like it. But all the scenes with Legolas and Gimli fighting and counting how many orcs they've killed etc. are hilarious!

Gimli has a funny laugh, like when Legolas offered to get him a box at Helm's Deep

Gimli in Fangorn Forest "Talking Trees! - What could trees possibly have to talk about, except the consistency of Squirrel Droppings."
Absolute classic! ( Yes, it's over the top but I've wanted to use that emoticon for ages!)
I also laugh at Billy and Dom reading their way through the credits on the EE comentary - for example
Bernard Hill - crashed the Titanic!
Brilliant!

There was a scene like that? I miss so much from not watching the EEs!!! Did Aragorn spit out the soup or something?

pippin finding the food and the pipeweed. his face was priceless when he picks up the apple and wonders where it came from then finds more apples. his face was hilarious when he saw the chicken and ditched all the apples.
also when the orcs were arguing about food

Favorite funny things that make me and my friend laugh everytime we see them:
Gollum: Whats it doing? You're ruining it, precious, ruining it!
Sam: What we need, is some nice taters...
Gollum: Taters? What's taters, precious?
Sam: PO-TA-TOES! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew...nice tasty chips with a side of--
Gollum: *spits*
Sam: Oh, even you couldn't say no to that!
Gollum: Oh yes we could! You keep your nasty chips! Just give us a fish, raawww...and wiiiiigglllyyy!
Sam: You're hopeless.
Legolas: Forty-two.
Gimli: Not bad for a little elf princeling. I am sitting pretty on fourty-three.
Legolas: *shoots orc Gimli is sitting on*
Legolas: Forty-three.
Gimli: He was already dead!
Legolas: He was twitching.
Gimli: He was twitching because he's got my axe imbedded in his nervous system!
Hahhhah

I liked the part before the battle at helms deep when Gimli said:What's going on?(he couldn't see because he is so short and the fence was taller then him)
So legolas said: Would you like me to describe it to you or would you like me to get a box?

May I ask - what scene was that? Was it in the EEs??

Yes, it's on the extended edition of the two towers Oh, yeah, and another funny moment:
Pippin: It's talking, Merry, the tree is talking!
