Post subject: What if Faramir and Eowyn were dead also... Posted: May 23rd, 2006, 1:30 am |

I was wondering how it effected the people if they were both dead. Faramir and Eowyn both could be dead because of the mortal wounds they had. Fortunately, they both lived. I would be desperate if Faramir had died too.

it would have the same effect on me as when Boromir died (im sorry did that make sense? ) ... any good character that died made me extremely sad, so i'd hate to imagine what i'd be like if Eowyn and Faramir died ... fortunately they didnt die

Actually not the same effect on me as I felt when Boromir is dead because Boromir was really bad inside that is what I liked in his characteristics. Faramir had no effect that he is bad actually in the movie except the scene they tied Frodo's and SAm's hands.

Boromir wasn't bad! He died for merry and pip! He was a good man of Gondor! And he cared for his little brother..unlike denathor..
Anyway, back on topic...what was the topic?-goes back up and searches-
Oh yeah, i would have cried SO much if they had dies. I LOVE Faramir, he is soo awesome, and i really like Eowyn too, so i would have been eally upset.

*agrees with Haldir and Aduial* Boromir was NOT evil. I think if Eowyn and Faramir had died it would have made me very sad and the story would miss something I think..

somehow, if you actually think really deeply (which i am not at all enclined to do ), you'd realise that the story wouldnt make as much sense without Eowyn and Faramir alive

I know, they were kind of needed, and to cast them away at the end would be like....wierd, as if they were created for that sole purpose and nothing else.
And Haldir: That's very cool, I have noticed that:D I have a friend! YAY! lol.

Boromir definitely wasn't bad. He was human. However, I must say that I love Faramir and only like Boromir, so I would have been crushed if Faramir had died. I do cry when Boromir dies, but it would have been more traumatic.

*agrees* me too. I like Boromir a lot, but I like Faramir even better... perhaps because I can identify more with him..

Faramir has such a kind heart and he's so sweet ... it would be really dumb to kill him off for no reason
