Lilly hugged her two cloaks over her tight. It was always cold in the stable in the morning. The dew had set on the grass, and she was going out to the pasture to get the yearling inside for breakfast in the barn...

Ceri smiled at Larijki, who slithered along in front of her. She was very suspicious of unknown territory and knew it was better for Larijki to lead the way. Marra trotted behind her and Inzimia rode on her shoulder. Ceri was happy. She was here, she was free, all she needed was orders. They emerged from the undergrowth to join the others.
