Lol, i was watching this how called "It's Acedemic" And one of the questions was about LOTR (To my delight, i knew it too! Funnily enough) And the present dude didn't pronouce Eowyn's name right! lol, grrrr. I know i know, trivial thing, but still!

He pronouced it something like this

ee-oh-wine

or something like that, what ever he did, it was wrong though! lol. :D

Haha! We studied part of The Fellowship of the Ring in Lit class at the beginning of the year. I was so irritated with my teacher, because she would always say 'Aragon' instead of 'Aragorn.' She even wrote it wrong on our work sheets. My protest was crossing out all of the 'Aragon's on the sheet and replacing them with 'Aragorn's.

I will next year too, because I will be taking a Fantasy Lit class and two of the things we will study are LotR and the Chronicles of Narnia.

For some reason my English Lit teacher a while back used to call Denethor, Donathor. It really bugged me and I couldn't figure out why he said so oddly. It's not like he had a lisp or odd accent...

Arg, I hate it when people say things wrong. I think Celeborn is probably the most frustrating one. I corrected some one once, and they were just like 'Yeah? How would you know? It could be either. '
*bangs head against the wall*

And it is really cool that you've studied FotR in school, go_spurs. I'm so jealous, lol. As far as I know, we don't do any fantasy in any classes. They seem to pick the worst books for classroom stuff. :confused2:
