Erm...Well, I don't actually play piano, I just use it to figure out notes before I write them down and then I play them on my clarinet. ^_^

Yup! I'm writing the notes down in letter form on a little recipe card, and then putting them in a rough-draft form on sheet music paper, and then I'll put it all together and hopefully I'll be right! I mean, I guess on every single song in FotR TTT and RotK, and guess what, I got every single note right. Aren't I gifted?

Ooo, I play piano too! I put in melodies on my Mac (Garageband). I just did my RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music, for the uninitiated) Grade 7 exam a week or two ago. I found a couple sites for sheet music but I STILL haven't found it for The Black Rider, unless it's in accompanist form for violin or trombone. Grrr. I've never heard of Requiem for a Dream, someone wanna link me to the said trailer?

hey could you really post it? I mean I'd love to play it on my violin or piano...!!! but it'd be also great (I'm not underestimating your skills!) to get the sheet music, you know for the accompanying melodies as well.

Yup! And if you're interested, I'm planning on doing the melody first, and then tackling the accomanying parts as well. It may take a while since I don't have any software, but I'm planning to get some soon!
EDIT: I pretty much have the sheet music for Arwen's Song finished! If anyone wants to periodically pm me to get updates on how things are going that would be fine.

Sure! All I have to do is format the time signature and get the beats right. I have all of the notes down. I hope you don't mind that for the time being it's handwritten!
Also, since this is only my first try at this song I'll probably keep updating it every so often. And once I get it up, please critique!!!
It'll be up as soon as possible! (Which might be while, since Piro's scanner hasn't been working properly -_-)

Umm... By the way, does anyone know or wanna take a guess at the time signature for Arwen's Song? Because I've been trying to break it into measures, and it doesn't seem to be working.

yeah, I thought it'd be 4/4 or 2/4. And now I got the grades thingy. In Finland it's like this: you can pass (or fail) certain degrees, starting from 1/3 and 2/3 and 3/3 and then I can't remember how it continues but I think after that comes YMT (yleinen musiikin tieto) and then these letters etc. I've done 1/3 and 2/3, I've played the violin seven years now, so it's much slower (I think) than the grades in Canada, so it's like when I had played for four and a half yrs I passed the 1/3 and when I had played for a little over six yrs I passed the 2/3 test. (which was last christmas, 8.12.05) YAY I'm waiting for the 3/3 but it might take some yrs before I'm ready to do it. and violin is a hard instrument, you really need this kind of... determination to do it without losing your marbles
