That IS sweet of Viggo. It's guys like him that really save the reputation of guys everywhere. Girls are always giving men in general a bad rap, and when they do sweet things like that, it makes them realize that not ALL guys are mean or selfish eh?

When Merry and Pippen set off the firework, the girly scream that you hear is Billy Boyd's real reaction. He didn't realize that the rocket was actually going to flare up.
Also, in one of the fangorn forest scenes, a big weta crawled up Pj's leg and he freaked out.

Yeah I heard about the PJ scream.. that was soo cute!! It was also great, that thing in the TTT on the Extended Edition, that Theoden and Aragorn are arguing, and while they were shooting it, Viggo and Bernard had really much fun, so Viggo kissed Bernard on top of his nose.. The look on Bernard's face.. I will never forget it!!

*thinks* ok.
1. andy serkis got the idea for gollum's voice after watching his cat bring up a hairball.
2.viggo mortensen would call orlando "elf boy" and take the mick of him by saying elves were prissy. so orlando would call him "filthy human" and point out he was going to live forever.
3. when saurman (i just know i've spelt that wrong) is holding his hand over the plantir (i think in the ttt) his robes cover his hand because the day before christopher lee has injured his hand and had needed a skin graft.
4. during filiming for a fight scene viggo broke a tooth and asked for superglue to stick it back in so he could finish the scene.
5. billy boyd had to have fillings done on a day he was meant to be filming dialogue, so at the dentist he refused anastethic because of filming later on. so during the surgery he sweated with pain so much his hobbit feet came off! and it was all in vain anyway as the filming schedule was changed to allow for his not being able to speak because of the anasthetic.
i know some over stuff but i can't think of anything else at the minute and my spelling has become worse than usual

Oo i have one ... Craig Parker had to stand on blocks in Lórien because he was waaaaaay to short for an elf.

ohh i've got another one!
At weta digital they made a program to fill in the background in battle scenes with little fighting guys. well on one test they noticed loads of guys running away from the fight! weta thought they had created real artificial intelligence, later they discovered that the "brains" of the fighters were a little to simple and they could only react to an enemy in front of them and the men running away were facing the wrong direction so they didn't have anything to fight! that's why they were running

fact: Craig Parker did the voices for Frodo in the storyboards, the Witch King in FotR ("give up the halfling, she-elf"), and Gothmog in RotK

When Merry and Pippin smoke in the movies, Dominic Monaghan had to drink milk before every one of those scenes to keep from getting sick from the smoke...

I had another fact but i forgot ... it was about the witch king.. does anyone remember anything about the witch king? i swear it was a good fact... _________________

I have no idea who played the characters ... but i DO know that Craig Parker did Gothmog's voice. And the voice of Gothmog's evil lieutenant.

I haven't got any facts that hasn't been mentioned here. Dominic Monaghan while escaping from the Ringwraiths with the other hobbits, got a splinter in one of his foot.
