Well, *Kinda getting off the subject last*, I really didnt like that the elves were at helms Deep! Just because they dont belong there.

Anyway, yeh, I did notice they show alot of scenes with Legolas. I think they do that in that particular scene is because they are showing the awe in Legolas' face when Gandalf reviels himself again.

[quote="Nauriel Rochnur"]Have you ever wondered why the movies lasted three hours? Randoms shots of Legolas! Non stop! Aragorn draws his sword. Legolas. Gimli chops an ork. Legolas. Frodo gets stabbed. Legolas.

 :roflmao: that is so funny
but i do like the random pics of legolas
they did use alot of different camera angles in the movie and when they got rid of scenes that might have messed other scenes up
maybe they at one point had a wider shot and showed the three hunters together but when they shortened it then we only see legolas and they just didnt feellike fixen it

like i said so many times ... a lot of people are simply prejudiced against Legolas because he's a pretty elf ... and i did watch the trilogy over and over again and aragorn is given just as much random screen time as legolas

True. While I find the examples about egolas screen time funny, one must admit...plenty of other people get their random screen moments as well. Especially Aragorn. Whatever happened to Gimli here? I think Gimli deserves more rights.

I think PJ showed legolas in the scene because he was trying to give people the feel of what aragorn, legolas, and gimli all thought and felt when they saw how much more powerful and stuff gandalf the WHITE is! :) hehehe
i'm glad he chose lego for this very serious part lol. he's so HOT :)

wel..I dont think it is dumb...I mean, Legolas's eyes show up and glow, just to show the power of Gandalf, now that he is White

I admit he is hot, but still it's completely pointless and distracting. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hmm...Well i don't think it's random at all really. I think it was put there to show Legolas' reaction. I don't particulary find Orli attractive although i do see what you guys see in him if that makes sense lol. But no, i think it was to see how Legolas reacted.
