Bow, usually to make a writing piece have life you have to be totally into it, which is easier when you've just experienced it two minutes ago. for example, if you become angry, sit down and write a poem before your anger goes away.

I never stop writing. writing's an obsession of mine, which explains why I never find time to read outside of school.

I wrote this poem last night. Not the best ever, but it's my first real attempt at poetry.

For my whole life
And I can't say why
I kept my face away from the sky
I never allowed the light on my face
And now I know that I made a mistake
'Cause now I'm looking up at the sky
And as I walk I wonder why
I stayed in the dark so long
Because now with you inside my heart
Things are all different
I've made a new start
And I know I'm safe
And I know I'm loved
And I'll always belong
With you in my heart Jesus
I feel that nothing can go wrong

Yeah, I'm Christian if you couldn't tell.

That's really good!

I found a small poem on the back of one of my old notebooks. I don't know if I created it, or if I just wrote it down, but I really like it.

All we want is happiness.
We don't want to feel the pain.
But if we're to notice the sunshine,
We'll have to put up with some rain.

Ooh, ooh, can I join? Pretty please?

I actually had this assigment for school, so I thought I'd at least make it fun. It's not great, but it was really hard to do. And I took some poetic license with it. It's an acrostic name poem, by the way...

Mumakil run rampant
Over the plains of Rhun, lost
Numenorians travel far by the
Illusions of the moon.
Can you hear the horn of
Astaldo, Lord of War?

Drawing his sword to render doom,
Often retold by Lords of Lore
Many wandering travellers look for those of
Elven race,
Now that I go home to you, through
All of time and space.

I've finally been able to tell myself to stop procrastinating and get my butt to work on just one of my books. I want to get it finished before I work on anything else, it'll take too long to finish anything that way.

So, I posted it quite some time ago... You alls probably don't remember it. It's about the guy whose wife died and he moves to the mountain... anyone? XD

Well, anyhoo, I'm rewriting it. Not starting completely over, but reworking the first two chapters, which is all I've got, because my writing's a great deal more sophisticated now. Reading the first chapter and the end of the last chapter is like reading something written by two different people. So I'm giving a face lift. And I'm gonna finish it before I start work on any other major project.

The one about the writer? Cause I remember that one! lol. I keep having to tell myself to get busy on one of my stories too.

I also have to kick my butt in my shape with my stories. I've actually started a new one and I find quite a challenge. You see these two girls in my class are huge romantics, so they found out I write stories and now they want me to write them a love story. I've never actually written a love story before, and the closest I've ever gotten to love is from the movies or books. So this is very challenging for me. But I'm hoping it works out for the best, besides, there's nothing wrong with trying something new once in a while.

ugh... i love writing but i can never get motivated to stick with a story! i hate it! This is just a blurb of the story i have been writing because i am just bored... its bad, i know

Chapter One

There were several reasons why I am still in bed at 10 a.m. on a Monday school day. Besides the fact I was tired I have good reasons to.
Reason Number 1: I have a head splitting headache. I can barely stand the slightest noise. My head calls for major Asprin time.
Reason Number 2: My mom,Brookes, told me to sleep in. My mom is like my best friend, so I actually listen to her.
Reason Number 3: I partied all last night with my best friend and her boyfriend.
Reason Number 4: My dad is downstairs. That always calls for me sleeping and making sure he doesn’t know I am home.
Reason 5: My bed is very comfortable right now.


The shouting match downstairs finally ended. My dad, the creep that he is finally left, and I’m am now sitting on my bed mulling over how much I hate him. I can hear mom downstairs, she’s slamming things around and going into a rapid cleaning frenzy. I hate it when she does that. Something of mine always disappears. I should have probably gone down by now but I am just to lazy.
“Wesleigh, get down here NOW!” Mom is calling me, she is going to make me go to school, I just know it.
“Coming.” I call back, unmotivated. I practically throw my self off my bed and walk downstairs. My mom is in torn jeans and a fitted white shirt. Her blonde hair is messy and her eyes puffy; Dad made her cry.
“What did he want?” I ask, grabbing a Power bar and sitting down.
“Nothing.”
“Oh.”
“We need to talk,” mom’s voice is different, something is seriously wrong. I put down my breakfast, I know I won’t be able to eat.
“I...have been offered a headmistressing job at a private school.” Mom blurts out. That was excellent news for her.
“Congradulations Mom!”I say, headmisstressing has always been her dream.
“It’s a really good school, the pay is really good and I get lots of benefits.”
“Great, where is it?”
“California.”
“WHAT.” My world comes to a screeching halt.
“Yeah... I know.” Mom says quietly.
There are a couple things wrong with this situation. 1. NYC, New York has been my home for like...EVER. 2. All my friends, and boyfriend live here, I CANNOT leave them.
