*GASP* I'm a big PotC fan too! I had joined a PotC fansite, but grew absolutely disgusted with all the bad stuff going on, and left.
(Note: I feel so greeted! Is this my cue to get emotional and sttart proclaiming my love for this site?)

Ah, nice. I've kinda been to your region before, though it was just passing through on a road trip. Always a pleasure to meet a fellow proud Texan! 
As for the proclaiming your love for this site, I assure you it's only natural.  A-U will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who join.

It's lovely to see that!
And also, before I get to welocming, I would liekt o say, good for you, congrats on already making yurself known, I've seen you around quite a few times.
And now, welcome welcoem WELCOME to the Arwen-Undomiel Family!!
It's great to have a hyped-up member such as yourself, and a linguistics lover (I know 3 languages fluently and am taking my fourth year of french) so fun fun fun.
I'm sure you're already enjoying yourself, i dont see why you shouldnt be, considering the healthy amount of love and sweetness that lingers around the forum! Besides awsome members, we have fantastic mods who are great at...doing what moddies do! and of course, the one the only Arwen the Webmistress.
Besides the ace community we have, there's always LOADS you can do! You can be silly and random, vote in polls and conests, randomly talk like a pirate, talk about things from your life to POTC, join clubs, discuss your favorite actors and movies, ask or give advice, show off your artwork or just look at some great stuff, RP, play games, enter contests (graphics and writing), join the A-U Forum Family Tree, participate in the forum's most random and fun events (like the recent Bilbo and Frodo's Ball) and a lot more, I'm sure!
So alst but not least, if you have any queations, random concerns or needs, just wanna talk or say hi ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS feel free to ask or PM me, ok?
