HI I'm Laurel, a proud ringer from ontario canada. I read the books and enjoy the movies(duh) and and a big fan Orlando Bloom, but don't take that the wrong way I 'm not some crazy fan girl I actually enjoy his acting and his personality. It's TRUE!!!!! I really can't spell well and make I alot of mistakes and typos. If I say something to random or rude just let me know and I'll stop. I hope people still use this site  because I'll be sad if they don't. Hope to see you around!

Hiya laurel! Welcome to AU, my personal favourite website on the entire internet! (And that is a lot of sites!) It is a real pleasure to welcome another Canadian fan, I am from the west, but I know of at least two members here from Ontario! This is such a multicultural forum, it truly is amazing!

Welcome welcome welcome, to our very humble and meek society!
It;s really pretty great to have you here with us, and I'm happy that you managed to stumble upon our little family.
We've got some great people on here, hopefully they (we) won't all scare you away at once. hehe. But we really do have some awsome.sweet, adn loveable members, scrict and caring moddies, and an ace webmistress!
Besides the great amount of cool people on here, there's always just so much you can do, I don't think you'll find the time to get bored! You can be silly and random, vote in polls and conests, randomly talk like a pirate, talk about things from your life to POTC, join clubs, discuss your favorite actors and movies, ask or give advice, show off your artwork or just look at some great stuff, RP, play games, enter contests (graphics and writing), join the A-U Forum Family Tree, participate in the forum's most random and fun events (like the recent Bilbo and Frodo's Ball) and a lot more, I'm sure!
Also, about randomness, no worries! Randomness is good..great! and encouraged!! 
Just don't go overboard.
If you have any questions at all, random needs or concerns, just want to say, or feel like talking make no hesitation in asking or PMing me!
I'll be glad to help/listen in any way I can..well, get to posting!
