((I've got 2 chars... one is a hooded elf in the council, the other is a red-head elf named Eruraina. Eruraina isn't going west, but the hooded elf maiden is going west!))

"It is settled then" Turumbar said.
"The forces of Elves and Men from Gondor who will arrive, will take the High Pass, clearing the Mountains, and at last come to the gladden feilds, down to Lorien and Across to Dol Guldor. The Dwarves will take care of the North East, and these men will take word back to King Eomer." he finished. "The Army will be led by Lord Halarond."
(ps, does anyone want to take on roles of leutenants and so forth? Second in Command etc?)

The days went past, and they made their perparations, Halarond in charge of the entire Batallion, and Lady Eruraina as second in command.
Halarond dubbed Tulmind as Commander of the Elves on the Battlefront.
The Gondorians arrived on the fifth day. 500 Swordsman.

Eruraina prepared herself, putting on her battle armor that was getting dusty from not being worn since the battle at the Black Gates. She waited at her post, as second in command...

The hooded maiden elf had gotten into her fighting cloths, and put on her belt with her sword and dagger, and put on her quiver. She waited in her commedations, waiting for the signal for when the warriors were to go...

Halarond was seated on Garabod, his sturdy horse at the front of the Army alongside the Lady Eruraina, Tulmind amongst various important others. 500 men of Gondor and 200 Elves of Rivendell were there, ready to set off.

They set forth, they marched for a few hours until sunset. "We will rest here." Halarond said. It was at the foort of the Mountains. "For tomorrow there will be no rest until we come over the Mountains on the other side."

Tulmind took out his bow and called to the rest of the elves. "We are the gaurds of this army. You must at all costs get back to me or to let the others no of ANY danger. Keep up with those on horseback and stay ahead. We will take shift when night comes." He then scanned the faces of his elves. They were confident from the defeat of Sauron. They all shook with the chill of the early morning and the mounting adrenaline. He smiled raised his bow, the rest did the same and cheered and set off to the front to keep gaurd. Tulmind blew into his hands to shake off some of the cold and knocked and arrow and ran twoard the rest of the elves.

Lady Eruraina dismounted when Halarond said they were to camp now. She untacked her black mare, and rubbed her down, then let her go.
She set up her bed, using a single blanket that she would lay on, her saddle as a pillow, and her cloak as a blanket. But she didn't lay down to sleep yet. First she took out some lambas from her saddle-bag to eat.
Eruraina walked over to Halarond.
"Lord Halarond, are we to camp every night? And is there anyway to get horses for those on foot? Those two things are sure to slow us down. It took me four days to get from Mirkwood to Imladris without stopping or slowing. Mirkwood is in danger, and we've already used up some presious time."

We have little horsemen, and even if we sent them to re-enforce mirkwood, that would nbot be enough, I fear." he paused and sighed, then looked up from his maps. "We need the horses for fear of attack. If the Orcs and goblins have steeds or wargs, we must be matched." he held his hands towards her. "Please, will you join me?" he asked her. "For more subtle plans have to be made."

Aearion listened with intent ears. He wanted to get to his homeland as quickly as possible, but he understood Halarond's decision. He leant against a tree and sighed.
