Larael entered the library quietly feeling quite out of place amongst the shelves of books and dimmed lights. She took her language coursework out of her bag, and began work on it silently. She looked up every once in a while at the other two girls in the room, but they didn't seem to notice her.

Caunion packed all of his homework into his Adidas bag, put his earphones on, played "Be Still My Heart" on his iPod mini, and walked towards the library. When he entered in, he accidentally bumped into a table where a girl (Larael) was working diligently. "Sorry," he apologized.

Larael looked up at the boy who had spoken. "Oh, that's alright," she said smiling warmly at him," There's room at this table, that is if you'd like to sit here."
She pushed her books over to the other side of the table to make room.

Luthien checked her watch absently. 9:30! It was almost curfew here in residence. Luth realized with a groan that she had forgotten to check out that book for history class from the library. She pulled on a pink hoodie and stepped into her indoors flip-flops and headed downstairs.
The library was surprisingly busy for this time at night, if it could be called busy at all. Luth spied Amoniel and raised a hand in greeting. She immediately went to the history section, and looking down at her palm, tried to decipher the title written there in smudged blue ink.

"Oh great. It's almost curfew!" Amoniel groaned. She closed the book she was reading and gathered all herself.
"I'll see you back at our room?" Amoniel asked megan.
