I like the idea of having it after Christmas! It seems everything we're doing is being planned for Christmas or right before it, so why not have some things after it.
By the way, concerning the Secret Santa- When will we be announcing who we got our gift[s] for? I know we have to have our gift to keyodie by Christmas Eve, but when will actually tell who we're the Secret Santa for?

I think it will either be Christmas day or soon after. Keyodie may have mentioned in the thread she posted which lists people's likes.
Is it possible for a Mod to set dates for some of these activities? Because at the moment we don't really know what is happening when.  _________________

this mod is willing to help out....if you'd let me know what all you'd like dates for? I figure you would like dates arranged for the Masq. part, and maybe some contests?? Here's an idea...Christmas tree decorating contest finished by Dec 20th, to decorate the halls with....Sled races the 21st to get everyone cheering or participating, ...carol contest finished by the 22nd to sing on sleigh rides and so on, ...secret santa reveal sometime whenever Keyodie has it planned..., 25th-26th the Masq. to give more time to participate and make guesses..., and the 27th, the final wrap-up of our Winter Ball. I know we'll have dancing, sleigh rides, and so on through out the ball as well but those won't need specific dates. Let me know what you think. _________________ [~+@&#=^?]

Sounds pretty good to me! Question: will we tell who we were at the end of the day on the 26, or will we reveal ourselves on the "wrap up" day?

maybe reveal on the 26th before signing off for bed?  Whatever works for everyone, is fine...if you can't reveal until the morning of the 27th, no one is going to complain I'm sure.
Ok I'm fine with running the Christmas Carol contest, but I need help with the others if someone wants to set them up..... sorry but keeping up with these threads, preparing ball threads, work, family, modding tag and my weekly section...I don't want to neglect anything by taking on too much. Hope you all understand. Have a lovely day!!

that's fine too...whatever works for everyone is fine with me.  But people would need to vote quickly...because, believe it or not... the ball is only 10 days away So, we'd have to fit in the voting for dates and the actual contests too in the next 2 weeks. _________________ [~+@&#=^?]

Hmph. I wish I could take part in the masquerade...I will be gone for the second half (ish) of the ball.

I'll just say that any date before Dec. 25 works for me I know that it really kind of stinks that I'll be gone on Christmas itself I won't be coming home until sometime before New Years though _________________

I agree with Gil^ Sometime before Christmas day would be good, since most of us will be busy unwrapping presents and stuffing ourselves with food in real life, I doubt some of us will be able to come on the forum....Mabye Christmas Eve...or Christmas Eve, Eve...lol
