Dude, I come from a Scouser family so I think I can say what I like about my parents hometown. I never said there was anything wrong with the people - just the city and the accent. The city is a dump and it needs bulldozing and rebuilt. Take away the historical buildings, museum, theatre etc and what's left is not worth looking at.

*takes deep breath*

Anyway....

^No, it's not you. I just feel very stongly about Liverpool and what I think it should be. It was once one of the busiest and most important cities in the Empire and now it is the playground of the yobs and the night club goers.

And chavs. Dont forget the Chavs. I see that u yearn for the glory days of old England. I reckon Engand was a bit like Numenor in its glory. What i all think?

We haven't fallen that far out of 'glory'...you just have to look in different places for it.

Chavs...scum of the Earth...

Chavs? Somewhere as intellectual as this? That makes me laugh. I have to agree, Chavs are the bane of England in these days. I like the analogy of England to Numenor. It fits too :D

And on the subject of football stadia, give me the Franchi in Firenze anyday. :D

Ah, but that's not in Britain :P I'll always love the beautiful Bridge...great sense of unity, footy brings us, I've always thought. Well, unity within our supporters. Arsenal are going down  I do have sympathy with Henry though.

Hmm...Chavs on A-U...we can't see their Burberry and Argos 'bling', so we must recognise them by their fake ghetto speech!

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav

"Chav is a derogatory slang term in popular usage throughout the UK. It refers to a subculture stereotype of a person who is uneducated, uncultured and prone to antisocial or immoral behaviour. The label is typically, though not exclusively, applied to teenagers and young adults of white working-class or lower-middle class origin. Chav is used for both sexes, where a male chav is sometimes referred to as a chavster and a female as a chavette."

*Shrugs*

Chavs are generally found in cheap sports shops...buying tracksuits that they constantly wear, and yet are never seen doing any physical exercise in. That is, if you don't count slouching around with their 'gangsta homies'.
