Chavs ARE different from the American equivalent. They're British and nothing else. I'm glad I only have to put up with them during my three weeks of summer holidays in Britain. Not that I'm not proud of my country, but Chavs are annoying!!!

Robin Hodd is dumb. I was really disappointed with it. I'm only watching it for the (rather lovely) Richard Armitage as bad gut Guy Gisbourne.

I am so with you on that I just like the hilariously fake fighting, lovely horses and very pretty Jonas Armstrong and Richard Armitage.
X-Factor...Simon Cowell is funny, I can't stand Louis Walsh...cannot believe Ray is still in.

Hmm...he may be pretty but he's not really suitable as Hood. He's too young, and to perfectly manicured to look like he's been on the Crusades.
I can't stand Louis Walsh. He can be really nasty, especially when Simon is trying to have his say and he just cuts in. I actually like Ray, as I like the old style music like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. He does their songs justice. Ben was a one trick pony. He'd have started screaming down the microphone and stomping his leg singing "we wish you a merry Christmas". And I don't know what Leona is all about. I dislike that type of singing and seems to sweet and innocent to be completely true. I liked Eaton Road and the McDonald brothers.

Not as stupid as sports programmes, big brother or "celebrity" programmes. Actually most of TV is stupid, but there you go.
But moving away from this controversial topic.....
I was just waching a programme about the Princess Diana Conspiracy, and I am convinced (although I have been for years) that she was murdered, assasinated. Anyone here agree?

Well personally I don't think any of the Royal Family know what happened. I belive it was the Goverment and/or the Secret Service. The RF doesn't have much say about anything, and I can't honestly see them keeping this secret all those years. Not to mention him having to lie to his sons about his mothers death.
It would seem to be because she was engaged/dating a Muslim and the possibility that she was pregnant or people believed she was pregnant that led to her death. She had openely spoken about the fact she was a threat to the RF, because she didn't conform to RF rules. She had also written that she beleived a car crash would kill her. If she had given birth to a half Muslim child and William and Harry had died, this child could then be the next King, which would be a disaster to the Goverment and RF.
Whatever the reason, or how it was done, she was murdered and I hope in time, we will find out why and by whom.

Oh, I hardly watch the telly a lot, let alone British telly. I just don't have enough time to set down in front of the telly and watch it. Princess Diane was rather young when she died, right? I was like seven when she died so I don't know a lot about it.

Yes, I agree. Although I'm sure she would have preferred the money they spent on the fountain to have benefited her favourite charities.

The label is typically, though not exclusively, applied to teenagers and young adults of white working-class or lower-middle class origin. Chav is used for both sexes, where a male chav is sometimes referred to as a chavster and a female as a chavette." *Shrugs*

I saw that thing about Diana. I don't really like the Royal Family but I cannot stand Charles. We should skip him and go straight to William for our next King.
It was so sad about her death though...I don't know whether it was a murder or accident, but it was sad either way.

I agree. Knowiung how lomg her Maj will live he may as well not bother becoming King. I like Prince harrys want to be a front line soldier, but I do think it is gonna be impractical. Any unit he is posted with will be in more danger than usual from terrorists

Yes, I agree. William will be very old by the time he is made King. I think Chales should forfeit being King because he was carrying on with Camilla before and after he married Diana.

Gah...I can't stand Camilla either. They should both disappear and let William or Harry take over. At least people like them...
