I agree with you lot that the fountain memorial of Diana and whats-his-name looks ridiculous. To much bragging.
I also agree that we should skip straight to William, but can we talk about that when HM is dead?
It'll be weird anyway switching from "God save our gracious Queen" to "God save our gracious King". Anyone thought about that one??

Our football team have only just learnt the lyrics to God Save the Queen...they can't cope with a word change...

Yeah well, JF, I guess that's why the change is going to be so weird! Because hardly anyone sings it and then suddenly ... I don't know.

And I certainly agree with Elegost: Britain is unbelievably expensive!! *gasp* But I still prefer pounds and pence to Euros.

I'd love to go back the shillings and stuff, too! Much more interesting!!

Another thing I've noticed is that the UK keeps getting more expensive. My cousin's over from NZ and my Aunt gave my sister £20 for her birthday, and my cousin was all OMG thats $60NZ. Now, the thing is, it costs about £300 for one of those new Xbox things here, but with that amount of NZ dollars, you could buy about three.

*Sighs*

I hhe fact that stuff is so Expensive in th eUK, but there is a single explantion :
VAT

I would also rather be in a superior economical position with the pound than the Euro, Brtish Economy is one of the steadiest in the world.

Ooh, yeah, I saw the final match between the French and the Italians. That wasn't very pleasant. I was a bit happy when Italy won.

Which English person does like the French? I'm sure some of them are great...but the ones I've met have fell right into that 'arrogant, irritating' stereotype...but when it comes to footy, I don't care what nationality players are :P Henry is one of the greatest footballers in the world at the moment, when he gets over his whole 'I'm too tired to play' thing at Arsenal..and Zidane was incredible.

One of my best mates has lived in France for acouple of years, Hisd wife is French and I still dont like most of them. I get annoyed that ppl say us and the French are teh oldest allies. THAT IS A LIE! We have been at each others throats more often than I can think of lol.
