(I think so, I'm going to start anyways.)
Christian entered in the masquerade room. Oddly enough, hardly anyone was here. Sure the musicians were there as well as the waiters but aside from them, there were no patrons. Christian assumed that he was early and went for the punch bowl where he helped himself to a glass of punch
(I know my username says Christain but "Christian" was unavailable as a username so I had to compromise. I hope I haven't confused anyone)

Christian sighed in relief as he saw more people approach. For a second, he would have sworn he was the only party man here. First a young lady with her escort, a charming young man. And then another young lady. He approached that young lady and said, "Hello there, I am Christian. And you are?"

Edith walked up the stone steps that led to the Masquerade ballroom. She felt shy, and wondered how many people had decided to come, not wanting to make a fool of herself in front of people she didn't know. Or did she know them?

Gil wandered into the room, looking at all the people. They seemed vaguely familiar, but....she just couldn't tell! And after last ball, nothing was certain. She walked over to a small group and listened to their conversation.

Edith stood for a minute by the door, not knowing who to talk to since they looked occupied. But when the musicians began to play, and it looked as if people would start dancing, she decided to sit in a chair and watch.

Christian extended his hand towards Princess Arwen and when she accepted it, he led Princess Arwen to the dancefloor while the musicians played a lovely waltz. He half hoped that once people saw them on the dance floor, they would join them.

Gil caught Christian's pleading look as he danced around the room with PA. "Well, I guess I'll dance too," she said. She stood and looked for her date. After a minute, she realized that he too was in costume and standing beside her as Han Solo. "Well well, Captain Solo," she said. "You look very nice today." "Thank you," he replied as they walked to the floor.

Orlando looked at elf princess, smiling a charming smile. "shalle we dance?" "why not?"
elf princess and orlando went out onto the dance floor, spinning around together with their arms around each other.
