*Sarien happily watched this sweet display of friendship from the shadows. Raelyn was just about to go over to Gerhart's group, when Sarien ran out swiftly from the shadows and gently took Raelyn by the arm and made her look Sarien in the eyes.*

"Raelyn, I will stand strong beside you in this battle. I would be honored to fight with such a kind Elf, and such a good friend." Sarien told her.

*She bowed low to Raelyn, then stood once more.*

Raelyn was sort of shocked. " thank you sarien! i to you as well!" she bowed also.

"Alright then, I will follow you to wherever you wish to be before the enemy comes." Sarien said.

*Sarien was ready and waiting paciently (sp?) behind Raelyn.*

My second battle.........I pray that this one will not end as the last. I wonder if Legolas and the other Elves are still alive? Maybe after the battle............I could.............go searching for him. Oh but I hope with all my heart to the heavens above me that I find him. And tell him. If only he were here in battle with me, then my confidence would have no end! I just wish that I could see his perfect face one last time before this battle.........Oh Legolas........

*Sarien snapped back to reality. And as she prepared herself for the battle, she silently wished that her dream would come true.*

Raelyn read sariens mind and heard her thoughts but kept them to herself and didn't speak to sarien about it. Raelyn then begun to prepare herself for battle no matter how long it may be.

Elrond walked briskly to a room with a window above the army. he saw his daughter and sighed. " shes getting so much older...and so fast...sooner then i want her to." he said softly to himself.

*Sarien and Raelyn were ready for battle as they stood in the line of defence. Sarien looked out at the beautiful horizon that stretched out in front of her. It sickened her to know that the enemy would soon ruin this scene with their disgusting presence.*

"The quiet before battle is one of the worst things to experience. So many thoughts and things run through your head.........."She pondered out loud.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is going through your mind right now Raelyn?" Sarien asked Raelyn while she stared out at the land infront of her.

(Arg I've missed so much! Sorry, everyone!)

Alendariel rushed to join them, fully clad in her elven armor. "I am sorry I am late." She said. "Family matters." She sighed, her eyes trained on the horizon also. "It is a shame that such picturesque beauty shall soon be befouled. Such waste..." she said softly.

(Don't worry its okay Miluiel, I hope you've read everything that has happened since you were gone. )

"Ah Miluiel! It is very good to see you!" Sarien said giving her a quick hug. "So what is going through your mind Miluiel my friend?" She said still gazing upon the horizon.

Alendariel sighed. "The sheer waste of what is to take place here in a short time." She lifted her gaze so it met Sarien's. "I have never fought, save with my sister." She smiled wistfully and glanced back at the horizon, then continued. "I fear for freedom." she said after a moment of silence. "And for myself and for those of you, who in so short a time, have treated me as a friend." She lowered her gaze, hoping earnestly that her words had not sounded too bold.

Raelyn turned her thoughts to her father. then to what Alendariel had said. " friend is a dear thing, nothing is better. i can tell you are a great friend!" she smiled at her. " and to answer your questoin sarien, my thoughts turn to my father. and my lack of knowing to fight. i am skilled with a bow but not in battle. i've only hit non- moving targets." she laughed

*Sarien gave Miluiel and Raelyn a warm smile, and hoped that her smile would be enough for them too understand that what they had said had been the kind words of true friends.*

"Now we must wait for the enemy to arrive.........." Sarien said in a calm tone.

After the short council with Elrond, Eruraina had dissapeared. Now she rode on her black mare, wearing her black travel gear, which was also her battle gear. The only hint of color was her weapons. Her long sword was at her side, her twin swords on her back with her quiver of arrows, and her bow in her hand.

Spotting Sarien, Realyn, and Alendariel, she rode over to them, and dismounted.
"Mellon Nins, I come here to help fight and protect you." she looked each in the eye, as she usually did to her comrads before battle, and stopped at Lady Realyn, "I will help protect you. If you wish, you may ride my horse, for she may keep you out of danger, yet close enouph to hinder."

"A good plan, Euriana. If you would wait but a moment I shall retrieve Galadelen. I can take anyone else who would prefer to ride." She turned and glanced at the three once more. "I thank you, each of you, for your friendship."

Constance stood silently in the deep shadows her jet black hair covered by the hood of her black cloke. Her eyes were closed as if she had fallen asleep, but she had not. She was mearly attuning herself to the surroundings and to the voices of the ones she would be fighting with if the need for her arose. Mmmm the princess has joined the fight this time a see. She tought to herself. She opened her eyes and strpped further back into the shadows as a group of warriers past her.

"I also agree with Miluiel, it is an excellent plan Euriana." Sarien said to her.

*Sarien suddenly let out a long high-pitched whistle. After she had done this, it was not long until a white mare with a grey mane and tail ran out from the forest behind them.*

"This is Fea, "Sarien announced to the group of she-elves, "she has always been my loyal companion. Since I have arrived here, I have been kepping her in Rivendell's forest. I had hoped that I would not have to use her for battle." She said with a sigh. "But we do what we have to do when we need to do it!"

*Sarien mounted as she contined to wait for the enemy.*

humm I believe it is about time that I make my presents known. Constance thought as she stepped silently from the shadows to stand behind the group of ladies. "The enimy comes." She said aloud as she looked toward the horision.

Raelyn didn't have time to mount a horse. gerhart marched his men (whom Raelyn sarien and the others were fighting with) twrards the enemy. Gernhart looked at Raelyn. and they spoke with each other through telepethy "becareful dear friend." he thought. Raelyn could feel the concern in his thoughts. " i will, do not worry." they marched on twards the evil army. Raelyns heart beat fast.
