Film director, ideally. The world needs a girl director to kick Spielberg's behind into the dirt. He's had it coming ever since he made ET....

Lol. Teaching sounds good to me, and you have good holidays.

Please don't. He is such a brilliant director. Though I am interested in a female director.

Jeezum, how can you say that? Speilburg is like, It, in the film world. Just about every director has nicked one of his ideas in some way or another.

I am amazed.

Aye, they're good too, as is Sam Mendes, Robert Zemeckis, George Lucas and others. But I don't think you can totally disregard everything Spielburg has ever done.

I'm not saying all his films are bad, some are really awesome and I can admire the directing. Empire of the Sun is an incredible film, it really got me into the whole directing dream...but there are weird ones...

I really like Hitchcock and Burton as well, and Ridely Scott makes amazing epics and the Almighty ALIEN series, which just. own. everything. :P

I agree. Spielburg is great, he's made some amazing films, but it's time we got a few more female directors out there. Maybe winning some Oscars and such too. ;)

^ at least it's only online friends making the mistake. people i know in real life keep calling me a guy. i'll quite happily admit that i'm not a girly girl, but i think calling me a guy is a little unfair - i may hate shopping and make-up etc, but i'm still a lot more feminine than many girls i know. they're just bullies!

Awww...don't listen to them. I've never worn make-up and yet get accused of wearing it by random teachers when there are girls walking around with so much eyeshadow on they look like racoons :P

Yeah, I once got mistaken for a girl once on A-U. But past that, for female directors, I don't think I've heard of one. Do any of you guys know a female director? Who knows, Wingfoot could probably be the first women to win an Academy Award for Best Director.
