Technically, not lasers, blasters don't share any properties with lasers.

I learned something new today!
I watched the first movie of Star Wars a very long time ago. Watched the second one just last year. Never watched the third one.
But the most recent thing I did related to Star Wars was play Lego Star Wars. It was funny. =P

Hey watch it Darky, Arnold had ten duotrigintillion [a real number, btw] cousins who are now all ready to avenge his death by plaguing you the rest of your days. Haha.
Oh yes, and I like Star Wars WAAAAAAY [ad infinitum] better than Harry Potter.

There are a lot of things that were copied from other books that found its way into Harry Potter. Like the Dumbledores. That's a type of creature or what not from Tolkien's world, or so someone told me. And Wormtongue=Wormtail. After I figured that out my feelings toward J.K. changed for the worse.

Hey, originality is rather dead right now, the same could be said of a lot of fantasy universes.

I guess I just like watching people shoot the heck out of eachother with laser guns. Woohoo!
Ah, well Sirius may have been killed off sadly, but she said that she had to do it. He was just a finished character, hopefully in the 7th book we will be able to see him come into play a little bit. I love the Harry Potter books and regretably the movies. (the movies are far from the books but i still love them ) Have you guys listened to Muggle Cast? They are positively the best podcat ever! their soo [s]funny[/s]...i mean evil!!

You're right I guess. Eragon was great, but I saw some Lord of the Rings in there too. I guess there aren't many ideas left. The world is coming to an end! Wicked!

No, it's just writers and movie makers now seem to be a bit lazy.

I know. It's kind of annoying, really, there's no new material to get your teeth into. 'Oh, that bit's like LotR, and that bit's from Harry Potter, I think....' Everything is so repetitive. Why doesn't someone have a completely original idea?
