(I thought we were starting off with Pirates? But, okay, I'm cool with this.)
"Yes!" Pippin piped in with an eager chime in his voice. "I'm afraid if I walk one more mile I'll fall to the ground in many pieces!" Here, he glanced at Merry, "An' then you'll have to put me back together again."

"No such luck," piped Merrin cheerfully, unwittingly loud in the strangely quiet expanse of country. "'Fraid we'd have to leave you where you broke. Got any pipeweed left?" He added this thoughtfully, fishing in his pockets. "Haven't had a smoke since we left that Elven place."

[[Yes, I want you pirates to join us as soon as possible. Whenever y'all are ready, go ahead and have them appear.]]
Boromir gave only a hint of a nod, and turning to Frodo said in a quiet voice, "Not much longer, we will not travel by night, when strange and troubling things begin to prowl."

Gandalf looked out and said, "We will rest here, for a moment or two." His ruff voice crackled a bit as the wind picked up. He looked at his tired compainions and lastly at Frodo. Then, he turned his gaze westward...towards Mordor, even though it was still to far to be seen from the human eye.

Gimli sat down thankfully on a nearby rock, keeping his axe near at hand. "How much farther do we plan to go tonight?" he asked Gandalf.

"As far as we can." Gandalf replied, not even turing his head.

Gimli shrugged. He turned away from the others and started scanning the horizon for any potential threats.

((Legolas looked down to find dirt on his hand and boots. "Hold it! I'm a mess, I need to take another shower!"(tehe... sorry, Thats a joke my family says... ignore that!)))
Legolas walked slowly, knowing he could get far ahead if he went at a brisk pace. He was always aware of the dangers that could pop in at any time. He glanced behind him at the others, since he was at the front, then turned back to scan the horizon...

((*looks around* Alrighty then, guess I'll start the pirates off ))
Meanwhile, in another time and universe altogether, an epic battle continued to rage between the immortal Captain Hector Barbossa and his now equally-immortal rival, Captain Jack Sparrow. Lunge. Reverse. Parry. Slash. Barbossa's sword continued to dance this way and that, matching Sparrow almost blow-for-blow. Both men had been fighting for some time and were obviously fatigued, but neither was about to willingly back down. It was a battle for the ages, and was likely to last that long if the curse was not eventually lifted.
Gritting his teeth in an attempt to ignore the pain coming from cut on his arm (courtesy of Jack Sparrow), Hector switched strategies and began to take the offensive yet again. He'd all but driven Sparrow into a corner when a large blast suddenly rocked the cave, throwing all who were fighting to the ground.
As he slowly sat up and attempted to clear his head, Barbossa began to make a mental note to kill Jacoby once the curse was lifted, only to pause as he realized that the explosion was much too large to be caused by one of Jacoby's hand-held grenades. Then what the blazes... the thought trailed off, never to be completed, as Barbossa began to take in his surroundings and realized that wherever they were, they were most decidedly not on Isla de Muerta any more.

(Ok, are all the pirate characters going to appear in the same place as the fellowship? All together? I personally think it would be a better idea.)
Frodo gladly sat down with a huge sigh, "Oh, my feet!" He furrowed his eyebrows in a painful manner and then rubbed them with his hands. The throbbing pain that was beginning to shoot up his legs was only going to get worse as the cold night set in.

Pippin's eyes shifted downwards and he sighed, "I don't believe so..." he started patting his pockets before he looked up to Merry hopeful like and said, "Do you believe you do?"
Meanwhile, Jack Sparrow was sprawled out on the ground, like a twisted branch next to Barbossa. Apparently the blow had blown him unconscious, temporarily.

Gandalf looked down at Frodo. "How are you, Frodo?"

[Frodo, yes, I'm going to have the Fellowship come upon them!]
"We best stop for a bit and let Mr. Frodo rest," Sam said, ignoring his own fatigue, and glancing worriedly at Frodo.
Boromir frowned wearily, and looked at Frodo sadly... he could see how exhausted they already were, and they had only begun this perilous mission. A rather cutting wind blew, winter was upon them it seemed, and would only get worse. Slowly, his eyes shifted from person to person, and gradually into the horizon.
"Legolas," he said sharply and quietly, "...look into the horizon, and tell us what your keen eyes see?"

"Whose side is Jack on - " Elizabeth was in the middle of saying, eyeing the supernaturally endowed pair swordfighting. In and out of the moonlight, now skeleton, now man, they shifted, swords ringing off each other.
And then for a moment, as another shaft of moonlight turned leaping Jack to a leering corpse - there was nothing. Initially Elizabeth thought some gunpowder had exploded somewhere, and was looking about anxiously for flames, but their surroudings were altogether different.
"Will?" she ventured.
-----
"Well, Pip," began Merry with the air of a tolerant older brother, while puffing mournfully as though he might in the process begin to smoke despite the lack of pipe-weed, "if I b'lieved I did, I wouldn't be asking you."

Frodo looked to Gandalf with weary eyes, "I'm all right....just a little tired...." He pulled a grateful smile to Gandalf's concern but then looked away and toward Sam. "Is there anything to eat, Sam?" ------------------------------------------------
"At the moment...." Will responded to Elizabeth with a confused smirk, but that confused smirk soon turned into a puzzled bewildered frown. He was engulfed by a bright light and Elizabeth disappeared from his sight.
Will could hear Elizabeth's voice and so he responded, "Elizabeth! Where are you? What's happening?"

"You need rest, young hobbit." Gandalf said, sighing. "Quests usually will take their toll on your body pretty hard and make you weary."
