I never noticed things like that, then I go on imdb.com, look at the goofs posted, and then watch the movies specifically for that.
Like, the paths of the dead, Aragorn's torch keeps switching back and forth, and eventually disappears entirely.

I got this one off Imdb and watched FotR again to make sure it's true, and it was!
During filming 'Christopher Lee' broke his finger. As Saruman is summoning the lightning when the fellowship are climbing the snowy mountain, as the camera swoops past Saruman you can see Lee's heavily bandaged finger.
Same with this one:
After the huge orc battle, one of the "dead" orcs sits up and has a good look round before lying back down. This has been explained away in all manner of different ways, but it strikes a sufficient number of viewers as incongruous that it seems more likely to be a genuine error than not.

And the ever famous one, that was only present in theaters... when Sam says '...the farthest away from home I've ever been.' a car drives past in the backgroun, but this was edited out in the dvd.

I still haven't seen the car, but that's because I've only seen the dvd version.

I'm not a very attentive person when it comes to goofs but like others, I go onto IMDB to check.  to the site!

I do know that there's always a LOT of arguments going on about certain actors/actresses/movies. A few haters here and there.
