My band teacher in middle school obviously favored girls. I was the only female percussionist in my class and always seemed to be doing well, even when some of my guy friends (known for goofing off, but still good musicians) did not. She was unmarried...perhaps she held grudges.
Whatever the reason, it truly wasn't fair.

That actally makes sense. But it still isn't fair. I'm homeschooled so I don't get any of that (dunno, maybe my adorable little sister gets better grades after all!!! ) thankfully. I had a great swim coach who was not gender-biased, but the diving coach always seemed to think us girls were wining and complaining even if we weren't. I don't know why.
(by the way, Telepath, I'm glad you didn't brake that one dude's foot. Even if you wanted to. Rock on. )

Evil teachers huh? Can't say that I've ever had an experience with one, (I'm homeschooled) but they can be pesky can't they?

Actually it was mostly when I was, using Snape's words, "an insufferable know-it-all."

Am I the only weirdo here who considers kissing to be a little ... overrated?

Yeah, this time of year is a bit cold. I have tennis tryouts this week and it's really cold. And I'm wearing a T-shirt and shorts which means I can't feel my limbs for a while. Add to the fact that the older and better players love to play the weaker players (which includes me), my arms and legs are really sore and really cold.

It's gross....you wouldn't believe the amount of couples at my school kissing wherever you walk

Aaaww, I don't think it's overrated!
I wish I had someone to kiss! xD
Now, the whole slobbery-saliva-filled business of hanging onto eachothers mouths with your life is just...gross...
