wrong character, Elwing--Gil-galad was the High king of the Elves, who was killed by Sauron. Glorfindel saved Frodo from the Nazgûl.

I agree, Feanaro Calalean. All of the characters in the list are good . What makes Legolas stick out in your mind, though?

Oh . I'm terribly sorry for the mistake. Thank you for correcting me, Aerandir . I like Gil-galad, as well .

What do you like about Gil-galad, Aerandir?

Legolas and Haldir are both amazing, like you both said, Lord Elrond and Merenwen Melwasul. Elrond does stick out, though. He's much older, and rules over, if those are the right words, a city regarded as a safe place by many. All three of them, however, are great .

That's a really good reason, Jax Nova . There are parts in the book about Celeborn that are really good, though.

Since Glorfindel isn't there I chose the second best. Haldir! Although I think Galadriel and Gil-Galad were good too.

I agree, Arianna. Galadriel would make an excellent Queen of Middle-earth, or President, I should say .

Well, Arianna, I think we're on the same wavelength here .
