^ That's alright. I don;t mind being laughed at. It was meant to sound funny. I'm glad I'm not the only one who missed them.
All this talk of AWE banners is making me wish I had one. I must go and request one immediately.

Okay, can I just pop in and say that I just saw the movie and absolutely loved it.
Although, I have to say the beginning lines sounded all to familiar to life today. But, I guess that's the point.
But, LOVED the movie and pretty much...yeah. Nothing against it. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
ALSO, Keith Richards = PURE LOVE. He was totally hot. Okay, that sounds gross. But Keith Richards is the man. Seriously.

^^Ha ha ha ha. Well, be that as it may, to be Jack's father, he has to be hot in one way or another. But Mr. Richards is one hell of a musician, and in my book, that's hot enough.
OH! I also forgot to mention, that I thought the music was utterly brilliant and amazing and I really need to go buy it now. Ha ha ha ha!
I was sad there wasn't as much Jack as usual, but I loved EVERY scene he was in...whether he was talking or not. And I found all the...licking...to be quite cool. Reminded me of a certain Doctor. XD But every time something like that happened, there was a girl in the theatre that would make disgusted sounds. Why, I have no idea. I personally thought it was brilliant. And shirtless Jack =
And the many, many, many, many, many Jacks was HOOOOT. Yeah. You can't get enough of him.
And Barbossa...amazing as usual.
And Norrington. *tear* *SQUEES for the kiss* Man, that made my day. Besides Mr. Richards. REALLY depressed to seem him...parish. But he did it for a good cause.
AND, the return of ... erm ... those two soldiers. Whatever their names are, I LOVE THEM! I was SO depressed they weren't in DMC, so you can imagine how happy I was to see them here. And now as pirates! RAWR!
And I loved the council.
And all the battle scenes.
And...pretty much everything. The "wedding" scene...was funny. I mean, sweet and all. But...Barbossa stole it. :D:D
And Tia Dalma? Pretty damn cool. And I LOVED seeing Davy as...himself. That was cool.
Ummm...so...yeah. I obviously enjoyed it. XD I need to see it again.

I really don't have too much to say about this movie. It was quite good, but I've never been particularly Pirates-obesessed.
-I loved it when you-know-who died. I've been waiting for that for too long.
-Ragetti officially = pure love. He was amazing. My favorite.
-The end of the Calypso story line sucked. Badly.
-THE CRABS. I LOVED THE CRABS. *Wants one*
-The parts with the multiple Jacks were great. I was laughing so hard that it brought tears to my eyes.
My favorite out of all three. Definitely the most entertaining.

Okay, my profuse apologies for my absence of late. I was in New Orleans from Sunday til yesterday evening on a mission trip, then catching a 9:40 showing of AWE, then at school, then seeing AWE again, and...yeah. I am here now, and all I have to say is: Oh...my... goodness!
One would think that with all the spoiler-hunting I did, it would take quite a bit to wow me, but I was blown away! It was just so utterly amazing, and...wow. I'm quite literally speechless still at this point.
Starlight wrote: I thought Keith Richards did well as Captain Jack's father.[Forgive me for having no idea how to spell his first name. Teeg maybe?] But I hated his makeup. It looked odd. I LOVED Teague. He was amazing too. So quirky and so....Teague. Keith did a wonderful job with this role. Definitely loved the guitar, too. Starlight wrote: There were no eunic jokes. I missed those.
Aye, but at least we have Sri Sumhajee.

^ lol Hullo Tim4x! Haven't talked to you in a while, mate! Yes, the crabs were cool, I was wondering why he liked the "rock" so much. At at first, when the crab was gathering all the other crabs, I thought they were going to eat Jack. But I'm glad they didn't.
@ JF-hehe, I got it before my family did

^^ Yay! I was surprised with how well he did actually. Even Johnny Depp was saying how good he was in an interview I watched. The guitar was a nice touch. It made me grin. And the whole "How's mum?" *holds up a shrunken head* thing was funny.
True. But I still want one little eunic joke in there.
^Tur, I thought they were going to eat him too! I was really surprised when they didn't.
I was laughing so hard throughout the entire thing. All the jokes were hilarious. Of course, I was also gasping a lot. It was surprising. And alright.... maybe I even cried a bit at the end...
But yeah. I'm going to go see it again this weekend again definitely if I can.

Tim4x, PLEASE say you are not referring to James. I have been anticipating it for a long time and knew that it was inevitable from a writer's standpoint (I would have killed him too, if he was my character), but it was most definitely not a happy thing. It was utterly tragic and beautiful, but not happy.
And I could defend the Calypso story for hours and hours, but I shall spare you all.

*Deep breath*
I'm gonna cry again. Guys, I just bawled my eyes out in the middle of a movie theater, no joke - but this movie was absolutely one of the most enjoyable things I've ever seen in my entire life! My friends were giving me anxious looks near the end when my sniffles escalated to more than sniffles, but it was way, way more than I ever hoped for and I'm completely satisfied.
That's right. Completely.
Despite the fact that I burst into tears the second Will got stabbed and didn't stop until the end, I had SUCH a good time. The ending was so lovely and bittersweet and....wow. I felt so much more satisfied than I did at the end of CotBP. Eternal love, even if you can only see each other once every ten years - THAT's true, eternal love.
I really don't think I have any criticisms to make. I shall sleep well tonight in the knowledge that boy, did I EVER get my W/E ending!

I didn't get to see the ending.
The theater was so hot that I almost passed out around the part with Bootstrap and James.... how sad. So we had to go home before I fainted. The theater refunded our money and gave us free passes to come see it again.
Elizabeth is getting seriously annoying - at least from what I've seen so far. I hope to see the whole thing soon.
P.S. - What was up with the peanut thing?!?!?!?!?!

Therefore, his death (Which I already knew of too) made me happy. pirateoftherings wrote: And I could defend the Calypso story for hours and hours, but I shall spare you all.
I liked it a lot (ESPECIALLY the scene with her and Davy. That was amazing), and the last bit gave my dear Ragetti a chance for some great character development, but it just seemed incomplete. Whatever.
