No, Pluto is not a planet becuse it dose not clear the neighbourhood around its orbit. Therefore it cannot be a planet, however is not a satellite, has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (near-spherical) shape and therefore must be a dwarf planet. It also; unlike a meteoer is in orbit around the sun.
I hold with the veiw that Pluto is a dwarf planet not a planet.

Oh well. I am probably nieve, but, to me, Pluto is still a planet. I don't care what the scientists have to say.  _________________ <center>
