Aww thankies ladies. It took me two days to think out and type all that.
*hugs Melda*
*sniffle*
All those Willabeth moments were so moving! I love it when a movie is so good that the audience claps and cheers. It gives me such a wonderful feeling. But.. I just couldn't believe those things had actually happened. I'm still in denial over it all I think..
Can't wait to see that extra after-the-credits bit! Better run away before I hear too much about it.

*munches on cookie* Thankies Darky.
*ish excited* Oh yes! I'm a huge Willabether. Maybe not so much as Melda, but I am a Willabether for sure.
Going back to eowynfaramir4eva's theory- I love it! Now that I've read your post and I can think back on the movie, that would totally make sense. Gosh I hope that I could happen. It'd be so sweet! If they made a fourth movie that's what I'd want it to be about for sure. *does a happy dance*

Here's the last scene that's on youtube! Watch it while you can.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEViJbXRyws
The green flash signaled the curse to be broken-u can catch a glimpse of it when Elizabeth smiles and looks at her son. Watch closely.
The movie is similar to the Flying Dutchman opera...except to break the curse in the movie it takes 10 years while the opera takes 7 years.
The thing is that Davy cut out his heart and stopped ferrying the dead when he met up with Calypso and she wasn't there. He then turned all fish-like.
The curse is broken, but if Will got his heart back is left to viewer's mind unless Ted and Terry comment on wordplayer.com.
Rossio's comment
Rossio: Lots of interesting and thought-provoking points. Fun to read.
But to clarify one point: Davy Jones, as Captain of the Flying Dutchman, is cursed to set foot on land only once every ten years ... unless he finds a love that is true to him. Hopefully that rule will be made more clear in the third film.
If the person Jones had been in love with had been true, and waited for him, and stayed in love with him for ten years, upon his return to land his curse would have been lifted. That's a big part of the reason why Jones is so bitter and cruel. He had a chance to lead a normal life ... but his lover was fickle.
Just thought I'd throw that out there, since most the arguing is over rules that are incorrect to the film.

Really? I just watched not thirty seconds ago.... little quicklings they are...
Marooned again?
And the theme for Parley sounded like Kieth Richards got ahold of the music and used an electric guitar to give it some pizazz. I liked it, thought it was neat.

Wow..I guess I'm the only one that absolutely adored it from start to finish then?
Granted I've not went very far back on the thread though. lol
-shrugs-
I loved it, seriously. From beginning to end I was just completely drawn in. My fave of the three without a shadow of a doubt.
