Yumeko reluctantly smiled at Asha, "So - where do you wanna look at first - the rooms, gardens or just make our way gradually around? Mind you, we have to be quiet considering the time of day."





Takeshi examined the room, he reckoned that he didn't have to ask what was wrong but decided to anyway - he didn't want to seem rude or offend Hayden in any way, "What is it that you want to talk to me about?"

"Yes..." Lyn said. "I'll have to face my fears I think...I'll have to...step by step...to control it..." She brushed her hair out of her face again and looked at Mai and smiled slightly too. "You're right...I...I think I needed someone to talk to, ypu know, someone who would understand me...and I have to thank you...I never could talk to anybody...about that..."

"Well, if you ever want to talk to me, I'm here. Perhaps you could ask the nurse if there's anything herbal you can take to make you sleep better? I might sound a bit daft, but they work wonders for some people and it might stop you dreaming a bit." She leaned back and looked up at the high ceiling, Raye was still dozing next to them and all seemed quiet in the mansion. For some reason she felt oddly at peace, perhaps it was that she felt she was helping someone, rather than feeling like she needed to be helped.

Estelle awoke from a nightmare, for a brief moment glancing around the darkness of her room. She was not sure of the time, but she knew it was late. That was strange, she did not remember falling asleep, but in truth she must have. With a sigh, she brushed back her long dark locks as she crawled out of bed. There is no use going back to sleep now. she thought. Not in the mood to use her powers, she turned on the light before changing into a black tanktop and blue jeans and unpacked the rest of her belongings. With that she glanced around her new room briefly before turning off the light and decided to stroll around the darkened campus.

Lyn smiled again, thankfully. "Yes...maybe you're right and this can help me. I'll probably go to the nurse later. In fact...I am tired, I think I just don't want to go to sleep...because...well...you know..." She signed out deeply. It had been a really great relief for her to talk to someone with the feeling of being understood.

Estelle entered the hallway, the darkness of the deserted hall made even a place that was suppose to be filled with warmth seem cold and somewhat distance. How I hate the shadows. she thought to herself, shivering as the now empty hall reminded her too much of her time spent underground training under the hand of a merciless mutant. Lighting her palms so she can see, the soft glow from her hands bathed the room in a gentle light. Walking as quietly as she could down the stairs, she decided to go for a short stroll before she headed back to her room once more.

Mai nodded slightly, "That's understandable. The nurse should be still awake, she's a bit of a night owl really." She smiled a little. "But then everyone seems to be tonight."

"Yes...it seems so", she said yawing. She pulled her feet up on the sofa and hugged her legs. She was really tired already, but just couldn't go back into her room to sleep.

She looked at Mai again. "What about you?" Lyn carefully asked. "Do...you want to tell me something about...yourself?"

Mai shrugged, "What is there to tell? I was brought up in an orphanage, I ran away and fell asleep in a doorway. When I woke up, I was here in the initiative. I'm able to phase and turn invisible, supposedly at will, but I've had...difficulty controling it. Sometimes I'd get stuck being invisible and ninety nine percent of the time I can't tell whether I'm visible or not, without the aid of a mirror. Which is, to say the least, annoying." She sighed slightly, "But I think, or more hope, I have been helped by a friend of mine. It worked today anyway. Chances are, if it hadn't, he wouldn't still be here." She added, inclining her head in Raye's direction. "But maybe it was just luck and nothing had changed. We shall see no doubt."

"Yeah, I still perform and compete and everything," Marsia said. "It's just that I live in the institute. A lot better than sleeping in a flat, anyways. Oh there it is." She exclaimed the last sentence as the mansion came to view.

Yumeko nodded and edged towards the window, despite it being dark - she could still hear the rain pouring down though it was placid and serene.

"The gardens seem to be out of the question, so tomorrow morning might be a better option," she explained then spun around to face Asha again, "I'll show you the classrooms though - but when you get your timetable, you get the room numbers as well and the rooms are clearly labelled anyway."

Yumeko opened the door and gestured Asha to follow her, leading her down the corrider.



Takeshi nodded, "I'm unskilled at basic telepathy of reading thoughts but I can look into your subconscious to observe memories - but sometimes the memories have been supressed for a reason, it can be a traumatic expeirence...", he hesitated and examined Hayden with his dimly lit eyes, "That is - if you're about to ask me what I think you're about to ask me."
