That's grossly interesting. Mostly gross though.

I love Wikipedia. In my opinion, if Wikipedia says it, it's true.
Yeah. I can't even imagine going through that now, at age 15! But seriously, how a 5 year old's little body actually bear a child? I'm officially weirded out...

Not technically because this is still about guys and girls, perhaps a little indirectly, but...

*shudders* It would be incredibly tough to be that little and have a baby, although some exagerration was probably involved.

Every Wednesday night my youth group gets together to hang out and hear our pastor speak. But now that it's summer, we're having a really layed back kind of hang out time, and then we're talking about dating. The topic this Wednesday is what a guy should look for in a girl. I think it'll be neat to see what everyone has to say. At least, I'm hoping they'll open up and be honest.

thats should be an intresting thing to listen to, if any honest guys go up and say something other than "funny, pretty and smart"
i say that because my English teacher got really frustrated one day because she told everyone to write three things everyone thought the perfect partner should have, and EVERY guy in class had those three in that same order

^Ms.Hellard?
Oh, Mornie, I'm sure it variated from "funny, pretty smart" to "funny, hawt, smart"
It's also true you didnt have the same people in your class.
But Gwenny, sounds interesting. Don't forget to share the results!

^Definitely. I'd ask you guys to arouse more discussion, but that topic has been mowed over many a time...

Lol. Actually my cousin and I were just discussing that. We were getting a bit over the top though when I said the perfect partner for me would be slightly dark and evil. Which is the complete opposite of how I am!

well sometimes opposites (when its not too extreme) do attract, and not only attract, but stick....i've seen some really strange couples, but the longer-lasting are either rather oppositte or very very similar... funneh

But seriously, could you see me, bright and sunshine-y Larael running about with some.. emo goth or something? I can imagine it now..
Me: Would you like to go see a movie tonight?
Him: [monotone voice] I'd rather sit in a corner in the dark and cry.
[Not trying to make fun of emo/goth/punk people. I've nothing against you at all. ]

i said opposittes as long as it's not extremes.... and it doesnt have to be the bright aspect of you... it might be a totally different aspect... like i know this perfect couple, she likes to dance and party, he likes quiet evenings and staying home, shes intense, he's very laid back..... and they're perfect (also the opposite of you're cheery brightness might be a rather fast adventurous and darkish kind of person...) there are so many different kind of people, that one cant really categorize them even though people do try their best....

Haha, that reminds me of a quote from Anne of Green Gables. I can't remember the exact wording of it, but Anne told Marila [sp?] that she wanted wanted the man she married to be dangerous... or at least he could be dangerous. I think that's awesome. I would also love being with a guy who was capable of being dangerous or frightening. As crazy as it sounds, I would find him more comforting that way.
EDIT: Has anyone read the novel Redeeming Love? Holy cow...this guy makes Mr. Darcy look gangsta and as impolite as a pig.

Mmm.. I haven't read it Gwen. Poor Darcy.. I'll have to check it out then.
I want a guy that's not necessarily capable of bieng dangerous, but more of having a certain "deeper" side. I want him to be able to discuss heavier topics with me and understand the extent of my emotions.
