Legolas turned to the she-elves and simply smiled before turning to look out at his warriors. "I am honored to fight alongside Elves with pure hearts as yours, mellon nins." Then, he heard Aragorn's command and he looked at Valiana and Turwaithiel. "Get the Elves ready for battle." He commanded, then asked. "I need two more commanders. Are either of you two interested in the postition?" _________________

Drogo, feeling somewhat neglected remained silent. He had been hearing all of this talk about war and battle, but hardly any about Frodo and Sam. Inwardly, his heart was breaking from thoughts of occurances that may be happening at the moment in time. Then, which this, Drogo had decided he was going to do something about it. Even though, at this time, he was not sure what.

Pippin could tell that Drogo was deep in thought, so he left him along. He watched as one of the she-Elves named Turwaithiel rushed away, going to help Legolas prepare the Elves. He sighed heavily and looked out into the sun.

Valaina lowered her head in deference to the Prince. "I do not know what skills I have at a command but I will do all in my power to aid in this quest." she replied. With that she hurried off to aid in readying the Elves.

Merry was handed a few more provisions: food, from some of the hobbits. He had decided that, with hobbits, one could never have enough food, and, at least for the first few days, it would help the hobbits to have some of their normal food from home.
"Pippin!" He yelled, "Do you have any extra room to put some food?"

Merry laughed, one of the first in awhile, and thought to himself, Why did he even ask?
Strutting over, on the horse, Merry told Pippin his idea of allowing the hobbits to eat some of their food for a few days for better transition, and soon instructed some of the hobbits to hand as much food as they could over to Pippin.
