I typically only do the internet talk: ttyl, I believe. In all, I definetly perfer correct grammar.
My Philosophy:
Speak in correct grammar so that you can write in correct grammar. Write in correct grammar so that you can edit.

My sixth grade teacher did the same thing all of the time. I learned rather quickly, but some other people didn't. So, I just laughed at them, and I find myself saying it all of the time, also. I don't understand what is so hard about it. If you are unsure, replace the word with "am I able to". Then, if it sounds ridiculous, it's may. _________________ <center>

my teacher did that once... but only once that i knew of... not many ppl i know do that. it just tends to annoy and frustrate ppl.
