Khusrau stiffened up and spoke with his full, strong voice, "It's very good that we've all assembled here, but don't you
think that we should hurry and begin to formulate some kind of general idea of what we're planning, or how we're
going to do it? The Sultan's men have their
way of crashing in on meetings that hold for too long." He took a quick look at the door after he had said this.

Asho turned to Crukas and was about ready to ask, "Do you..." Continuing, he cut himself off, "Ahh nevermind." Asho looked back up at the magi. Listening intently, Asho inwardly agreed. Having the soliders burst in would make this night even worse than it was going. "Agreed," he finally spoke outloud, "We must continue quickly here or plan something to continue somewhere else. Either way, we need to hurry this meeting up."

Crukas nodded, looking upwards at the ceiling. "I vote for the second option." He said, still looking at the ceiling.

<Yea>
Edit: Who edited my post? Ellie can't can he, so a mod? So, was the answer to my question yes, if so, and it wasn't Ellie, then how do you know what he thinks.
Either way, would you a) say who it was who is changing my posts, and b) leave my original post, because I said EITHER should I have been in the background, and enter the RP now, OR should I wait for a suitable point. Yea what?

Crukas cursed loudly and drew a sword that he just recently made almost only two hours ago in the smithy. He looked around, but the men were pouring in from everywhere. "Dang, where do they all come from!" He asked to no one in pacticular.

"The doors," Asho told Crukas, "come on Cru, now is not the time to be asking ridiculous quesitons." He sighed and slowly lowered his legs from the table. Appearing more annoyed than afraid, he drew his sword and stood by Crukas, "I was personally hoping for something more dramatic and less predictable, but I guess this will do."

Arash Janaveh
Arash Janaveh whistled to himself as he drove down the narrow street towards The Sultan's Robes. He had finally been found by his father, and made to deliver a new wheel to Mr Khalid (which he had done) and come straight back home for another job (which he was not planning on doing).
He was just pulling up outside, and had tied the horse up to the bar outside, when he saw Aleena step out of the front door of the pub. His face broke into a smile. Dear Aleena, a year younger than him, pretty and witty, with more sense than would be expected from an Innkeeper's daughter; he had quite a thing for her.
He saw her look both ways up the road, as if scared, before spot him, and start towards him. She had got two steps forward, before pause. Her mouth opened as if to say something, but her eyes rolled back in her head, and she fell forwards, revealing a hilt of a dagger protruding from her back.
Arash let out a cry, and ran towards her, picking up her unmoving form, roling her over. A droplet of blood rolled down one of her cheeks, and her eyes waivered about, before coming to an uneasy focus on his face. "Arash..." She said, smiling gently. "I told you you would never have my hand..."
Arash's eyes opened a little wider. "Shhh.... don't speak Aleena, you aren't that badly hurt, we can get you to a healer, there is one nearby, hold on Aleena, just for a few...."
But as he looked down again, he saw that life's bright flame had vanished from Aleena's eyes. His love was no more.
Anger took him, and he jumped up, back to the cart. There were two short knives there, each only 10" in length, but he was determined that whoever had killed his love would pay for it in blood. A life for a life. He ran back to the inn door, and kicked it open with a flourish, stepping inside.
<Let me get on with it, I'll come join up with you in a bit.>

Crukas stood beside Asho, looking around, gripping his sword tight. "Do we make a run for it or try and kill them all?" Crukas whispered to Asho.

Arash Janevah
Arash got as far as three steps inside, before his eyes caught up with his feet. He had expected to see Aleena's father behind the bar, cowering from a thug or two, one of which had thrown the dagger after Aleena, accidently hitting her.
Instead, he saw the Inn almost completely empty, bar for a few soldiers around the bar, along the side. Three of them were standing around the end of the bar, looking at something on the floor and two more were standing, drinking at the bar.
*Clunk*
Ah, and two more were standing by the now closed door behind him.
One of the ones by the bar put his glass down, and slowly drew his sword. "Well boys, it looks like we have a late member of the group we're after. Get him. The Captain'll reward us for this..."
Arash shook his head, wordlessly trying to arrange his thoughts into order, but he saw the rest of the soldier's draw their swords, and heard steel on steel behind him as the two soldiers by the door drew theirs too...
"This... was not what I had expected" he thought, as he moved forward, trying to get all the soldiers in his line of sight at once. The soldiers obviously thought they had the upper hand. Outnumbering him seven to one, having better weapons and better armour.
"Unfortunotly, they were right. They did have the upper hand." thought Arash, as he scrambled over a table, sticking a dagger into his belt, and grabbing a stool as he went, waving it in front of him like a weapon to try and keep them back.

Crukas glanced at Carina and admidered her fighting skills, as well as Ulric, but then he quickly had to put his own to use. A gaurd came up with a pretty sad battle cry, in Crukas' opinon, up to him and swung his sword high, aiming to come down on Crukas' back. Crukas went low and took out the man's knees, but the man's blade still made slight contact with Crukas' left shoulder, and Crukas fell to the ground, grasping his shoulder as blood trickled down his arm. He quickly stood and punched the gaurd in the face, knocking him out. He looked over and saw the escape route that Ulric had found. He looked over at Asho and yelled, "Over there!" And then tried to make his way to it, fighting as he went.

Asho was not as into fighting as his personality would seem. He perfered to stay back unless someone came after him or a friend was in need. Unfortunately, he was unable to stay out of the fight this time. A man cornered him, somewhat, against a wall.
Asho remained formal, only hitting blade on blade to create the sweet ring of the clang each time. Seeing Crukas push the man, Asho yelled out, "I admire your fighting style... what works works. In fact, I think I may try that also." Lowering his blade, Asho ducked so the man's next swing hit the wall behind him. He soon popped up and punched the man in the face to see the man fall backwards onto the floor. Grabbing his sword, Asho ran for the escape right after Crukas. "So, in the end of this, Cru, I win," Asho smiled and laughed, "After all, I have made it out gaining a sword with you gaining a whopping.. nothing."

Crukas looked at his good friend and laughed, dispite his wound and the situation they were in. He grinned and said, "For once, I will give you that, but I think I will have more oppurinities to prove you wrong!" He said, grinning.

"Ha. Ha," Asho laughed, "You would wish. I, personally hope you only come out with honor and dignity, my friend. Being figments of people's imaginations, they practically have no use in the real world except for bragging rights. Which, I have been told, are a good thing to have." Asho winked at Crukas and ran into the escape route.

Crukas grinned once more. "It is better to have a great friend as you, Asho, than bragging rights." Crukas said and with a nod to Ulric, he followed down the escape route behind Asho.

Anousha knocked down several chairs in her haste to hijack a weapon and make it very clear whose side she was on. Rostam, on the other hand, was concerned with absolutely nothing more than making sure they both made it out alive. Scooping up the unconscious Carina, he slung her unmoving body over his shoulder and caught Anousha's arm on his way out. 'Utter mayhem' was a mild term to describe the cramped underground space, and it was with a sharp hiss of intaken breath that Rostam felt a stray blade slash down his arm, leaving a shallow memento of its presence.
"No! We have to stay and fight - stay and fight - " Anousha was protesting vehemently, making concerted efforts to escape his grasp. He hardly noticed until, upon reaching the tiny space that seemed to be their only method of escape, he found a mightily displeased black-eyed glare leveled on him. "Rostam, we are not leaving until every last one of those soldiers is - "
"We're leaving before we're both dead," he returned in a tone that brooked no argument. She argued anyway. A cursory glance around the room - or rather, the carnage - behind them revealed that most of the small band seemed to be doing passably well for themselves. "Here, you'll have to take Carina," he explained hurriedly, half-shoving his resistant wife onto the little platform and letting Carina down after her.
"I'm not going unless - "
"I'll be behind you. Make sure Carina doesn't fall." Rostam gave a slightly overly enthusiastic tug on the pulley rope and sent them both shooting sharply upwards before she could reftute his argument. He winced slightly. When he reached to the top he'd have to contend with a mightily displeased Anousha.

(Thank you so much Ellie!)
"Run until we run into a barn," Asho said to no one in particular, but still being careful not to give away their plans to the soldiers, "Got it."
Once he escaped the tunnel, Asho waited for Crukas to make it out and then ran to the edge of the city, "One problem," he asked Crukas, "Don't we look somewhat suspicious with us running and guards probably going to be running after us? How are we even going to make it out of the gate?"
