Sounds like the end is no fun.

Heh, I don't even own the book yet... I haven't even seen it before. I just read the entire summary off Wikipedia. It's... alright.

And I totally agree with Harry dying. That would be brilliant.
Semi Spoiler
The end is absolutely no fun at all. It's actually rather disappointing.

You two aren't the only ones. I haven't seen the movies, read the books, read any summaries, etc. The most I know about it is there is Harry Potter who goes to Hogwarts. There is some owl somewhere in the picture. I think he has two friends: a girl and a guy. I don't know what the names are... um... that's it.
I don't really want to read it or anything. I am fine with everyone else reading it. I just have never really gotten into it.

Nice, Smeag! I totally applaud you. I don't think I've ever met someone who has been able to keep themselves off at least one HP film.

I've read all the books, watched all the films so far... I can't say I'm an HP fan, though, I just don't find them original or special like LotR.

I don't ever plan on reading/seeing them, and at the moment I don't think I'm allowed to.
And that's okay with me.

The ending killed me due to the lack of Voldemort showing the skill he has. I mean, seriously, could the deus ex machina come AFTER he beats the hell out of Harry in a duel?!
