As wonderful a man as Norrington is, he just doesn't have that connection with Elizabeth. I mean, it took the man a few seconds to realize his almost-fiance had fallen off the tower into the water. Yeah... it's funny 'cause it's true! :teehee:

Huzzah for them!!! Poor Orli, so forgotten in the tidal wave of HSM 2. As I said to PD earlier, they clearly didn't watch the last 30 minutes of AWE...

Oops... sorry! :P $8? I don't think it cost me that much at the regular theater! It was $7, except on Monday afternoons it's $5.

I like pre-dead Will more than dead-Will, actually. :P Yes, poor Orli... I guess he'll just have to be content with #1 Bachelor in America... :teehee:

Indeed. (But, I still like you, Norrie!)

Oh yes... Poor fellow. I wonder if they told him to say that or if it was reflex. :P

Well, I have to go to the 7:40 showing, because that's the only time it's showing, and back in July the 8:30 showing cost $8.75. Lucky you. :P

Really? Well, in dead-Will's defense, he's wearing a black bandana and a shirt that's sort of...open...at the collar. :teehee: I'm sure he doesn't mind. :P

Sorry if im not very often,but,you know,the earth-quaick on Peru,well I have relatives there,and I'm worried if everyone's alright.

Maybe in the first movie Willabeth was a crush, but it's a lot deeper NOW. :-D
I'm sorry! I'll pray for them if you'd like.

Anie Surion, Ooh me too! I just I love the name Will, as I have said before. However it is merely a coincidence that Will Turner's name is Will....icing on the cake. You are writting a book with a character a
named Will? Way cool! :)
Once again I totally agree. Loyalty is extremely important to a character in my opinion. Without they are near...or usally are villians. :yuck:
You are one hundred percent right there! Jack is just...the leaving kind of guy. He is not going to stay in one place for very long (except for in fanfiction...). Jack loves the sea more than he loves women (well more than loving women the way that he should...) and that is just the way that it is. So settling down...not very likely at all. Once again I whole heartily agree! Will is near just the exact oppisite of Jack in many ways. Will is not the leaving type. When he makes a commitment he sticks with it (proven by his commitment to Elizabeth and his commitment to Bootstrap). He is a loyal, honest, and selfless man.
True...it is just the wait that I can not stand. lol Oh, well it is not that long until the dvd release. :)
Thank you for posting the link to that artical earlier. I can not believe that people think that their was not enough lust in Willabeth's relationship though. I thought that their was pleanty when put into consideration that that was not really in Will's perrsonality. Will was more of the romantic type rather than the lustful type. In honesty I think though that that was why alot of people jumped ship for Sparrowbeth. I always saw Willabeth as the romantic couples vs Sparrowbeth the lustful couple. Still yet though there were one or two scenes of lust for Willabeth and in my opinion that was more than enough.

Well, kinda...his name's William but he goes by Liam. (because Liam is my favorite nickname of the name William, with Will coming in a close second) Thanks. :)
Exactly! You said that in a very nice way. :)
Yes, Will is sort of the anti-Jack in a way, and vice-versa. It's a wonder they get along for any length of time... ;)
Yep yep! And the good news is, we have the other two with which to amuse ourselves if we find ourselves in desperate need of Pirates. :teehee:
You're welcome. I think that article shows exactly what our world is turning into... :duh: :yuck: True, if Will were more lustful like Jack he would've dragged Elizabeth off a long time ago...excuse the crudeness... Actually, of the two, Elizabeth seemed the one closest to going insane for lustful reasons. :P "Consider into your calculations that you robbed me of my wedding night." then again, T&T said that the main physical thing they did together was sword-fighting practice, so maybe we can't entirely blame her... ;)

I was thinking that maybe after AWE Willabeth had a daughter(when Will is free),so it means Will 3 has a sister! That would be neat.

I could see how people would think that, but I didn't think it was a teenage crush at all! They knew each other better than that. :)

Completely! I always saw Willabeth in the same way, representing a kind of pure, innocent, virtuous love. And I think they did love each other in that way because they still loved each other after 10 years of being apart, and they loved each other when they classes seperated them for 8 years before that. You don't need in lust in that kind of relationship, in my opinion.

Anie Surion, Oh, okay way cool. You are very welcome. :)
Thank you.
Yes, it really is. They have some simularties but they are very small. So I must agree that it is a wonder that they can get along for any amount of time.
Very true. We certainly do have the other dvds until the new one comes! :-D
It is a sad but true fact. I must agree with you. However I had half expected such. Quite honestly Sparrowbeth was not the first and I feel quite sure that it shall not be the last lust based couple. (sighs) Once again I must agree with you. Their was the island scene between her and Jack, her and Jack's kiss, the line to Beckett that you mentioned, her and Will's kiss, her and Norrington's kiss, she offereed to kiss Jack once again at the end of AWE, the beach scene with her and Will, and depending on you take the line she tells Will while he is in prision ("I would have you right now if it were not for these bars"), you might could count one that as a line as well (though I usaly don't) ...she received alot more kisses and such than any other character by far.

FaeEwoynTonks, Oh yes most certainly! A daughter for Willabeth would be amazing! What do you think that they should call her?

Taurquende, Oh okay cool. :) Yeah, I am sure that he still at the top of lists (for most beutiful...and probabley for richest and such as well :teehee:). Thanks for the information. :)
Exactly! They were pure, innocent, and virtuous. Very good point! I could not have said it better. :)

Aww, I love that idea! :) I think Will and Elizabeth should have four other kids besides Will III (I read that in a fanfic once and I like the idea). My ideas for names for the other four are Elizabeth (after her mom, but they could call her Lizzy or Beth), Charlotte, James (even if Will III's unofficial middle name is James, I like the name James Turner), and Pearl (because of the Black Pearl - ironic, no? :P). Your names are pretty too though, I really like Suzanne. :)

Yeah, it's not a common name, but there's a teenage actor named Liam Aiken who's one of my favorites, so that's how I know about it. :-D
Oh yeah, I remember those...poor old Will. He wasn't savvy in the first movie, it's not his fault. :(

Oh, I think Will is a go-getter when he wants to be. Remember "THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"? The difference between Will and Jack is that they are both go-getters, but Will cares enough about others to put them before himself, while Jack is generally looking out for #1.
Yeah...but somehow, it seems appropriate to Elizabeth's character. She's not terribly patient, haven't you noticed? Though I think after Will III was born she had too much on her mind to miss, um, you know...

Aye, that's probably true. "It is but a shadow and a thought that you love. I cannot give you what you seek." :P (I'm sorry, I'm sorry!! I had to!! :-D)

*shrugs* Dunno. Oh well. It's sort of cute, in a stupid way, like Ragetti. :-D

Good point! :bounce: Yay! (What was sad was, I was one of five others in the theater, and the only one laughing through most of it. :P)

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. He just looks awesome all through AWE, doesn't he? :teehee:

Ah well, stranger things have happened than Will and Jack getting along, I suppose. ;)
True, very true. So we must support the few exceptions to the rule, aye? It seems Elizabeth is a popular woman. :P

No, it wasn't. :( Also he was just caught up in everything and had a different way of handling it than Jack.

Oh, true! I had forgotten about that. :duh: You're right, it's always from someone else though. :)

Yeah, I'm sure it must have been hard for her to try to be both mother and father to Will III. I think he was always a constant reminder of Will to her and she was never really tempted to be unfaithful. :) She never really went after any other guy except Will... even in DMC with Jack. That seemed more like she liked him against her will. (Excuse the pun. :P) But when Will came back she fell in love with him all over. :D

Awww, I love that quote! Fits them perfectly. :D

Yeah. :D I remember seeing it the first time with my friends we all just burst into fits of giggles when he said that. :P

I know! I went back to see it for the second time about a week later and there were like three people in the whole theater! It was a week day afternoon, though, so maybe that's why. And it was kind of fun because I got to sit where I wanted and I laid out all over the seats and stuff. :P

He does! :D I've always love Will, but seeing him in AWE...

thank you! I find my countdown sort of convenient too! :P Ah, well, if you consider it 100 days (or I correct myself it's actually only 99 days now) goes faster than you'd think.... :teehee:

I know! AWE did amazing at the teen choice awards (except poor Orli :annoyed2:)

Well, I'm sorry to hear you'll be loosing it too...yup, I did find both of those scenes... ok, and I'll admit I did watch them too (it's horrible, but I did). :P Also I found the Tea Party scene! I love, love, love that little scene! Will is awesome in it!

Okay on the news front for anyone who might have missed the Teen Choice awards or has yet to be able to get to the website to get the entire list of winners....PotC won best action adventure, Keira Knightly won best actress in an action/adventure movie, Johnny Depp won best actor in an action/adventure movie, Bill Nighy won best villian in an action/adventure film, Willabeth won best movie liplock, and best movie rumble went to Will vs the crew of the Flying Duthcman. :)

thank you, Drew! I'm happy all of you guys think that's a good ending... to tell the truth I didn't know how you guys might take it. Hopefully you're no just being nice... :)

you're welcome! I like all the covers too (pretty much). Hmmm, I don't know if I have a favorite as of yet... they all have Will and Barby on them (which sure beats a cover with only Jack on it! :yuck:) and they're all pretty sweet looking. So I guess I still haven't decided. :P anything will be good as long as it's not ONLY of Jack! (and something with Jones, Norrie or Becky would be even better ;))

thanks for sharing the info (even though I already knew ;)) it's always great to see how well PotC did again! :-D Huzzah!

Actually, it was something like three years ago. :P My friend and I saw it on the cover of one of those gossip magazines. I'm sure some still list him at the top, though! :D

actually it seems like only a few months ago I saw a site that said Orli was still in the top 10 (and it seems like Zac Efron was #10. What is it with that dude?). :-D Go Orlando! :bounce: but I could be wrong... it could've just been another "hot guy" list.

Awww, that's sweet!

If Will and Lizzie had a daughter I would name her Lydia or Melissa or Charlotte or something really pretty like that. But Jessica is a nice name too... I also like Anie's idea of names… they're all great! Especially James for one of their sons… Yeah, five kids would be just right for Will and Elizabeth.

Aww, I love that idea! I think Will and Elizabeth should have four other kids besides Will III (I read that in a fanfic once and I like the idea). My ideas for names for the other four are Elizabeth (after her mom, but they could call her Lizzy or Beth), Charlotte, James (even if Will III's unofficial middle name is James, I like the name James Turner), and Pearl (because of the Black Pearl - ironic, no? ). Your names are pretty too though, I really like Suzanne.

Oo, I like Anna! :D Pearl is really funny though, even if "Pearl Turner" sounds kind of weird. :P I think they'll probably would have more children. They seem like the kind of couple who likes to have a lot of kids. :) I like the idea of two or three other daughters, though.

The name "Pearl Turner" came to me either when I was really bored or really tired. :teehee: I just think it'd be funny, seeing as Will was the Captain of the Black Pearl for something like an hour. :P

Taurquende wrote:
Oh yes! I've heard of Liam. From Series of Unfortunate Events? :) I just didn't realize his name was William!

Yep, that's the one. He's awesome, and he has pretty eyes. :-D I don't know for a fact that his name's William, it's really just speculation, but his dad's name was Bill...so do the math. ;) (Remind you of anybody? :P)

True. He didn't really tend to think things through well back then...he's gotten better at formulating plans though. :)

That's one of the reasons I love our Will. :) Or technically, Lizzy's Will. :teehee:

Yeah, I wonder what it was like for Elizabeth during those 10 years...I suppose we'll never know for sure. *snickers at pun* Sorry, can't resist. :P I think she was attracted to Jack but she didn't want to be - and perhaps she was more attracted to what Jack represented (freedom) than actually to Jack's person. Though T&T said something like this in the DMC commentary, "Elizabeth wants Jack, but she wants him on her terms, not his terms, and Jack wants Elizabeth, but on his terms, not her terms." Thus, they were at an impasse until the Kiss of Death... :yuck: Aww, I like that, "when Will came back she fell in love with him all over." :) Warm fuzzies... :P

Indeed, though "Our destinies have been entwined, Elizabeth, but never joined" is technically "their" quote. And I think I like it better, actually. :)

I still giggle when I see it, and I've watched it on YouTube a dozen times. :D But then, I'm easily amused...haha

 That does sound like fun! If the people in my theater had had more of a sense of humor I would've started acting it out or saying the lines with the actors, but somehow I don't think they would've stood for it. :teehee:

Will really comes into his own in this movie, doesn't he? No longer is he the geeky blacksmith's apprentice who harbours a (not-so-secret :P) crush on the governer's daughter - he's now Captain Will Turner of the Flying Dutchman, and the husband of Captain Elizabeth Turner of the Hai Peng. :D

Total agreement! I have no idea how/why they got involved with Shrek (although the first one was cute and the second was alright...)

Well, even if it isn't it's still a more unique nickname for William than Will. ;) You know, that vaguely reminds me of someone... that guy... played by that person... from that movie... that we've been talking about for 200+ pages. :teehee: :P

Definitely! After all, it's in his blood. ;)

Yes, he's hers, but she better learn to share. :P *:hug:s Will* :D

I like that idea! Except, she kind of was free at that point, wasn't she? I kind of think that it was more like he was just there and Will wasn't there and she was frustrated and confused. And in DMC she also started thinking of him kind of as a friend as opposed to in CotBP when she just hated him. Honestly, I think by the time she gave the kiss of death she had already made up her mind about him. :)
Everybody loves teh warm fuzzies.

couples like that are the best! Well, I don't expect you to know what scene I was talking about... I didn't even really know what scene I was talking about!

well, the best of luck to you. :)

"aye, avast" is a cute/stupid scene! But he's so young and naive then... I'm really happy Jack helped him out a little and got him out of that stage! :P even though it was sort of cute I would've hated for him to never grow or mature.

I got Elizabeth's speech too. :-D I've pretty much searched all over on youtube to find anything that might tide me over 'til the dvd. :P

I don't own any of the Shrek movies so right there that tells you I don't like them that much... maybe you have to have the right sense of humor? *shrug*

Yeah, I feel so bad for him at the start of Elizabethtown... but by the end I'm just ready to see him and Claire get together! They were so perfect, weren't they? I mean sure they weren't like Willabeth or Aragorn/Arwen but they were still a sweet couple.
