You stole that phrase.
"Pretty please with an Edward on top."
Ok, yeah. Doctor on top works too. And, you also hate EyebrowKidWhoseNameIsTim! :hammer: <-- Guess which one of those is me, and which one is EyebrowKidWhoseNameIsTim. :fish:
You know, I would seriously lurv to whack E.K.W.N.I.T. with a fish. That would be fun. He's greatly traumatized me, in case you haven't noticed.

Gasp! Am I the only person on here that actually liked Dr Who as a human? I mean... sure he was snarky... but who doesn't like a little snark now and then? I XD Oh yes, and I loved how Martha was all freaking out when he thought he was falling in love.

I liked him in the beginning, but the moment he gave that bully permission to beat the cute little kid...I knew it wasn't the Doctor at all, and that made me angry. :explode:

Yes, Shadowcat, I think this does call for a photoshopped creation :P

Think of it as punishment for taking his watch.

FM!!! WELCOME BACK!
Hurray!!

I'm with you on liking the Doctor as human. *SQUEE* Something so vulnerable about him. So...oh, how do you put it?....Human. ;) Yeah...lovely to see he was just human. :P

WAIT til you guys see him in the next episode. OH, I just ADORED him. :P

By the way, FM, LOOOOOOOVE the sig set (Miss Kess ROCKS). But it just broke my heart and I nearly burst into tears when I saw it. :P But the song "Good Vibrations" now and forever will get me teary eyed...although THIS is for a much different thread. XD

I too liked watching Martha freak out over the Doctor's/John Smith's falling in love thing. It was so silly. Ha ha ha. I think Rose took it better when she saw his attraction to Madame Pompadore. :P And Martha shouldn't have been so hard on him...he was after all...human, with no memory, really, of his Time Lord life. :P But throughout both episodes, I just thought it was the cutest thing....the Doctor and that lady. :P *SQUEE*

And I suppose I'm the only one who liked the kid. Ha ha ha...although, I might be a bit biased because he's that adorable kid from Love Actually. :P But I thought he was a good character.

And WELCOME Simba!! :bye2: :welcome2: :bye2:

The kid was just annoying because he stole Doctor's watch. Without asking. That's not nice. You'd think that at a fancy school like that they'd teach not to steal. He was cute, though. ;)

I love that little kid! He's one of the cutest things on the planet, like a baby koala or somthing.

And yeah, now that I think of it, I did like the fact that the Doctor was vulnerable and such: it was also a breath of fresh air at how free he felt (as a human, he doesn't have to worry about stuff like being the last of his kind, saving the day, aliens, knowing that he and Jack should be together, ect.) but I can't get over the fact that he allowed the bully to beat the little kid! When the bully asked permission, I was like "Oh no, the Doctor would never allow that." And then wham! He says "Permission granted." I just about peed my pants. Grrrrrr....

He is cute though. :teehee:

EDIT: Oh my gosh. One of you said earlier that James Nesbitt is not going to be the 11 doctor. I was okay with that. I saw his picture, and didn't quite think he fit. After reading the book "The strange case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, I couldn't help but watch an episode of Jeklly on BBCA. I saw the leading actor and was like "Oh my goodness. That is Doctor perfectness right there!" And of course, its James Nesbitt. I really need to stop judging people by thier pictures. I should have learned my lesson with David Tennent.

No! Let us NOT speak of 11th Doctor now! Let's just enjoy 10! I don't want an Eleventh Doctor... *pout* I like David Tennant.

I suppose normal human Doctor is a bit more... normal, yeah. Exactly. He's not preoccupied with saving the world from malevolant aliens. Problem is, he sort of needs to be to save his own butt, not to mention Martha's and his girlfriend's.

Wait... does the bully have eyebrows? *goes to check* Ok, yes he does. For some reason I was having some delusion that he didn't have eyebrows. I suppose if he didn't have eyebrows, he wouldn't be the bully, he would be the bullied one... Random, I know.

Ooh. So when the little kid said that the people he was "fighting against" in target practice only had spears (hold on, I just forgot what I was going to say...) and the other guy said something about seeing what he would do in an actual circumstance? I wonder if the kid will feel bad about those scarecrow things and not attack them. I'm just speculating, I should really stop.

Oh, I was watching SciFi channel and they showed an ad for Doctor Who. *sigh* and they confirmed it won't be on this week. Snap. And I'm soooo looking forward to this next episode.

Thanks for the warm welcome back everyone.

MB: Isn't this banner the bestest though? I just love it. And oh, I start crying whenever I hear Wonderwall being played now... because it reminds me of him. Kess is such a dearling for making it for me.

Yes he was rather vulnerable, wasn't he? In an endearing sort of way. I loved when he was going to ask Joan to the dance, and got all stutter-y, and then fell down the stairs. It was so cute and hilarious! And then at the very end, where they had the gun pointed to Joan & Martha's heads, and he was so terrified. *hugs him*

Oh, I've got to see the next episode soon, or I'll DIE!!!! I'm dying here in suspense already!!

Oh yes, and I like the kid too! I mean, he's an underdog, obviously. Who doesn't love a good underdog now and then?

James Nesbitt will be a good Doctor. *sure of it* I'll miss Tenant of course... in fact, I'll probably be sobbing at his finale. In fact, I should prolly start stocking up on hankies right now. Just to be on the safe side.

I thought James Nesbitt wasn't going to be the Doctor. That's what made me sad. (I also missed "Jekyll" Grrr)

Yes, I'll be sobbing at the finale. I'm not one to shed a tear for tv, but to see the tenth doctor "die"....I might cry.

Oh, and the TARDIS torture seen was very short. I was hoping for a longet one. *pouts*

Welcome Simba! Theres an awful lot of Whovians in the club now, isn't there?

Ten dying? Its impossible to imagine how upset I'd be! I always cry big time at TV or books, partly cs I obsess over them, and partly cos I'm completley hypo late in the day. And with us having DT for so long it'll be all the more worse. I don't even want to discuss it. Can't we just squee over his hair or something? Please?

Yes, I agree too. I'm the proud owner of a Doctor Ten hair fetish! Oooooo! Its so pretty.

There were load of Doctor Whos on yesterday, the fisrt season. After seeing them a couple times, I'm begining to see how absolutely cheesey they are, and I still love them to death.

BBCA is starting to promote Torchwood like its the best think since sliced bread. I can't wait until saturday!

Another thing about BBCA that I like: their closed captioning comments. Things like "The following program contains accent you would have heard a lot more of had you not thrown our tea into the Boston Harbor. To find out what on earth anyone is talking about, please turn on closed captioning." and "Not even British people can understand the British accent 100% of the time. Therefore you, like me, should use closed captioning." Funny stuff.

Ha, that's hilarious. I haven't actually seen those, so I'll keep my eyes open. Heh, that's funny.

Yeah, I watched End of the World the other night. 'Twas terrible, but I loved it.

Man, why can't I get BBCA?!! :annoyed: I'd LOVE to see Torchwood on the American tele. Curses! But that closed captioning thing is just BRILLIANT! :roflmao: How true, how true.
I grew up in a household where my mother always watched British tele and British movies....so I'm kind of used to the accents....I can get by...and this summer, working at the ranch in the middle of nowhere Montana, with red neck hicks crawling all over the place...when we would occasionally watch British films (Hot Fuzz, Spinal Tap) I would end up "translating." XD XD XD

*siiiiigh*

I saw the episode "World War III" the other night! It was on PBS. :P HURRAY!!! Ha ha ha! I about had a heart attack when I saw that it was on. And when does Series 3 come back to Sci Fi? I saw a preview for it last week, and it said "in 2 weeks." So...is it this week? Or the week after? :disgust: Maybe I should just go to the Sci Fi website, eh? ;) *giggles*

OH! And I've been meaning to say, I was watching "Spaced" and there was an episode where "Tim" who works at a comic shop, got called into his manager's office....and it panned up as he was walking into the office, and guess what was above the door?! The "POLICE Public Call BOX" sign! XD I about died!
OH! And the other day I was getting lunch at this taco place, and as I was walking in, I walked by this car that was blue and was one of those box car things...weird design. ANYWAY, the license read "blue box" and I about lost it. :P And so I watched to see who went in it, to see if it'd possibly be someone who looked like they'd ever heard of Doctor Who and the "clever BLUE BOX." Sadly, no. They were preppy, high school, blonde bimbos. :P Losers. Ha ha ha!

OH! And before I forget...just a random thought. I was talking to Mr. Frosty about this...but I watched an episode of "Life On Mars" and the guy who played "Elton" in "Love And Monsters" was guest starring, and immedieately I started thinking, "Heeeeey, Elton would be perfect for Torchwood." :P Ha ha ha! But I'm weird like that. XD
