Well I have been through the first three pages, and I know it won't be any further than that, as past page three are topics that haven't been posted in for weeks. I'll have another look though.
EDIT: Nope, not there. I'm not dreaming am I? I did post it. Does anyone remember seeing a post saying Wimbledon Tennis Championships? I've even searched for Wimbledon and the only topic that came up was last years thread I made.

First of all, I'm glad to hear you Brits are okay. I'm beginning to get very tired of rain.
Then I should reply to an old post by Darrell concerning what the UK includes. Just to let you know I read it but I haven't got the time to reply but it was very useful, thank you!
And Gimli, I might actually have seen your Wimbledon thread... but I've only browsed the forum briefly the past week so I'm not entirely sure... What annoys me most about the way the forum is acting is that every time I post I get the Error page even though my posts get through so I have to close the browser and log in again.

I think I'm going crazy. I know I posted a topic about Wimbledon in the Your Life section on Sunday, adnd I know people had looked at it.... but it's gone. I can't find it anywhere... which is really... weird... Aye. I just don't watch it at all I guess. *Shrugs* Which isn't the best way to be, but hey. How straaange my dear. I haven't seen it. :nope: But then I always find threads about 2 weeks after they've been started. Larael wrote: *tacklehugs Estë* Glad to see you here dearest. Whoa.. are you sure, JF? Aye, I am, sorry for worrying you.
Yea, you can look for hours, and then find it, right under your nose.

Wha..?! Their wheelie bin in Romania? Where'd you hear that?
Things just continue getting stranger and stranger, don't they?

Well what made me laugh was the other week, when Paris Hilton going to jail and Russia thinking of pointing ballistic missiles at Europe were next to each other in the news. I was like, what the hell?
Can't you just re-make the thread or PM a Mod, JF?

Still can't find my thread. *needs a shrug smilie*
Hahahaha, what on earth?! Why would you steal a wheelie bin in the first place? Were they planning to live in it?
Sorry to hear that, Johnny's Fan! Hopefully it'll turn up before long, I've had that happen to me on other forums before, very annoying.

Johnny's Fan wrote: @ Este - EEP! They were?! I hope they aren't pointing it at Europe now. i'm not sure if the russians ever did point their missiles at us in the end, but the worst thing is that they were considering doing so because george bush had offended putin. why should we suffer because russia and america have fallen out again? ridiculous! Johnny's Fan wrote: Did you all hear about the bomb in London? Outside a nightclub in Haymarket and 1 in the monring. The ambulance were there because a man wasn't feeling very well, and they noticed a silver car which had previously been seen to crash into a wall or something (which the driver had fled), was smoking. Inside were 60 litres of petrol, 2 gas cylinders and nails. The police detonated it, but they don't know if it was a suicide bomber gone wrong or what. Either way, it would have caused "carnage" if it had gone off.
I don't really know much more about it, but it seems to me as it was placed outside somwhere that wasn't as busy as it could be (like a tube at 9.00 in the morning) and the fact it went very wrong, it could be the work of an extreme individual who wanted to prove something... it could even be someone trying to stir up trouble between Britian the the Muslim communites.
no, i hadn't heard about that. it's a scary world we live in now.
the timing's probably significant, given that we've just had a new PM. do they know it was a muslim, or is that just a presumption the police/the media/you have made? because muslims aren't the only people who try to plant bombs.

@ Estë: Ugh. It's depressing to see something so trivial as Paris Hilton in jail on the news as opposed to something that's actually important. Especially with potential bombers running about England.
@ JF: How odd. I hadn't heard anything about that at all. But it doesn't seem like the person who did it was very smart as it wasn't very good timing and it didn't even work. I dunno if we should jump to conclusions about whether the person was Muslim or not. We've already got enough problems with that as it is..

Er, actually I wasn't at all saying it was a Muslim. The only time I even mentioned the word "Muslim" was in association with the fact it could be someone trying to make it look like the previous terrorist attacks we have had before. And let's face it, with the terrorist attacks we have had, and the people that have been imprisoned for attacks that failed, it is entirely possible it was someone who was trying to make it look one of the London terrorist attacks, to cause unrest between the Muslim community. Similar things have happened in the past with the IRA, they never planted the bomb, but someone tried their hardest to make it look like they did.
As of yet, they don't know who did it, and there is another case at least of a car that has been abandoned and the police are treating that as suspicious, but whether it is connected they don't know. It looks like there is a possibility it wasn't just one car.
Yep, because we have a new PM, that could have something to do with it as well.
So, yeah. No-one knows who did it, what their religion is or anything. So I don't think anyone has been jumping to conclusions. Animal activists have the knowledge to create such bombs, it may be someone unhappy that is apple crops have got rot in them, I don't know.

^ okay, fair enough. sorry to have misinterpreted you - it appears i was the one jumping to conclusions. it's just that a lot of people do seem to equate terrorism with muslims, and i have friends who've suffered because of that point of view, so it's something i've become very touchy about.
