Lol I don't know why I had that dream.maybe excess of work, but still...
Here is an opinion,do you like The POTC ride at Disney before the movie or after?Because now they have put in the ride Jack,Barbie and Davy.
Honestly I prefer it before.
Sure,JACK and the others rock and all,but you know, that ride was a classic, and it should be kept like the first time(it is my favourite ride at Disney, along with the Haunted Mansion)
And I was thinking how pregnant women in the 18 century could manage.
Because, if they wore corsets they would damage the baby's health, and the mother's too.
What Liza would do,wear a nightgown or no corsets or a T-shirt and a pair of pants from a fat big man?

I mean, that way you can confuse people and amuse yourself at the same time. I've found Jack's "Well, that's just maddeningly unhelpful" and "That's even more than less than unhelpful" are wonderful ones to use in everyday conversation. *high fives* Huzzah indeed! Don't ask... remember several months ago when I replied to someone's serious question by saying something like "it was probably the same thing that made sure Lizzie's legs were shaved for the island scene: Tinkerbell! That's where it came from, I think. Lucky you!!! I want to have your dream!!! (My last POTC dream was about Jack, that wasn't nice at all... ) it was. sadly I can't answer the first question... I've never been to Disneyland or Disney World so I have no clue what the PotC ride was/is like. However, I really really wish I could ride on it! (although it's the only ride I really want to go on in either park) sorry, I can't give my opinion on it.
Well, I'm sure women from that time didn't wear corsets when they were pregnant. They were kind of stupid for wearing them in the first place but I don't think they knew that little about the damage it could do to their baby and that sort of stuff. they just went without one for those 9 months.
I think Elizabeth probably just wore what she had been wearing... normal breeches, shirts and all that pirate-y stuff... since she didn't like corsets anyway and I highly doubt that changed after AWE.

Yeah, that sounds like fun with the right people. Thanks, at least it was on something semi-interesting and I didn't fall asleep or anything...
About that... *runs off to start*
Then again, you're probably easily amused like me. It's from Up Is Down, when Jack is attempting to piece together the clues and come up with an answer. It's not as memorable as "That's just maddeningly unhelpful" but I like it.
No, you were here, but it started a two or three page discussion about that scene, and if it was over-the-top for Willabeth. and you might've skipped that or something. I was quite proud of myself, even though I didn't really do anything.
Well, even so, you can't complain, now can you? (*crosses fingers* Probably not, but thanks. )

I remember Tinkerbell! I'm pretty sure PD came in when it was just winding down.
Wow, what would AWE be without Tinkerbell? They wouldn't have gotten to Singapore, Lizzie's legs would have been unshaven... I bet Tinkerbell also helped Jack and Davy stay balanced on the Flying Dutchman's sails during a maelstrom!
I also haven't been on the ride. I went to Disney World when I was little and we waited in line for a long time, but then I found out that it sent you down waterfalls and stuff so I chickened out.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, it was improper for a pregnant woman to appear in public. So I'd imagine they sewed loose dresses to wear over their chemises.

Yeah, especially that pregnant women have to wear light clothes,so wearing a corset isn't the smartest idea ever.
Didn't you people love at **spoiler** when Liza was with Will 3?
I do.I thought it was cute to see Liza as a mommy.

I loved that! I was like "AWW!" Keira did a great job with just a few seconds' worth of screen time. (Though I did notice that Lizzie aged rather gracefully... )

@ Anie... No worries. It was kind of fun, in a way.
Well, you normally don't age that much from ages 20-30. At least, not as much as 30-40 or 40-50. Still, she would be rather well preserved.
Will III was adorable! Exactly what Willabeth's child would look like.
He and Elizabeth were actually in my weird dream last night. I dreamed that a prophecy had said that I was going to die when I married, but Davy Jones was in love with me, and paid Jack to make me fall in love with him and marry us. Then Jack had to protect me from my destiny, and Davy turned into a prince. He paid Jack by giving him a solid gold jacket, and then he (Davy) turned into a giant frog. Then Will, Elizabeth, and I had to rescue Anamaria who was pregnant, and then Elizabeth talked to Anamaria and found out she was pregnant. Then for some reason Anamaria led an armada against us, and she led the attack in a row boat. And Elizabeth didn't want to be out done so she insisted she lead an attack in a row boat!
And now you know what scary stuff goes on in Taur's head.

wow, what an amazing dream, Taur! lol Nice... and a little weird! but, hey, it's still PotC!
Actually to explain the aging process Lizzie went through is easy… Barbossa picked her up… or Jack rather, after Barby had to pick him up for the charts. That way they're all together again AND it shows how Lizzie could've taken care of herself for 10 years. I mean I can not believe she stayed on that island for that long and I can not believe Jack would just abandon her if he had a chance to get her…So it's simple... they picked her up and took her with them to find the Fountain of Youth. And so she got some too. That explains it all and I like that ending more than her just somehow living, giving birth and raising a child on that spit of land. Makes sense to me.

Yeah, I guess so...it was about Sydney Carton from A Tale of Two Cities. I sort of despise the book, but Sydney's pretty cool, and he reminds me so much of Norrie (:'() that I was about to struggle through it.
You're welcome!
Yep, it's one of my favorites! Then again, "favorite" in this case means 80% of the movie, but still. I love watching Jack in that scene, he acts so dorky it just cracks me up.
Oh, no, you misunderstood... I wasn't part of the discussion, I think it was JF, Pheonix, and a couple other well-known members. I only made the comment and then someone asked "Don't you think that was too lustful a scene for Willabeth?" and it was off from there. ( "Have you noticed lately the Captain seems to be acting a bit strange...er?" )
(Aww, thanks, Merry! )
AHA! You've figured it all out, PD! It's brilliant, I salute you! (I'm thinking Orlando must've found that thing and not told anybody. )

Some people change when they have kids,or something very shocking happens to them,we'll never know.
Maybe Liza, after Will 3 was born, she became a bit more calmed.
Sure, she is adventuruos and brave, but she can be sweet at the time.

Hey! I remember that show! Wow, I haven't thought of that in ages! I remember we used to watch parts in class in first grade.
Gee, thanks. It was an odd experience.
Huzzah for Orlando!

I would love to see him grown up! Yeah, I think you all got into my head or something. We've been talking about pregnacy and Will III and Willabeth.... Hmm, sure, that works. isn't that funny? and today people say it all the time like it's nothing... (actually I think I kind of like how people did things back then. It was all more proper and elegent. ) (lol you know I have never watched I Love Lucy.... strange, isn't it?) aye! I would too! lol what's wrong with that? thank you! Ánië Súrion wrote: I know! Poor Norrie and Sydney... Really? That's interesting...I knew how it ended because of that old PBS TV show, Wishbone. I read that version of it. That battle is awesome. The wedding still makes me laugh, and I've watched it at least a dozen times on YouTube. Ah, yes, I could've guessed. Nah, not "dumb you", more like "unspecific me". (Thanks! ) Makes sense to me. *shrugs* Then again, maybe I'm just too lazy to come up with my own explanation. lol Oh, really? I didn't even know Wishbone did A Tale of Two Cities! (it's been too long since I watched that tv show... it was a good one though ) I guess mine was just a gut instinct because that's how those things go in books and movies... there's one guy who loves the girl and he's kind of a undesirable guy (or whatever) but in the end he does something incredible for the girl he knows he'll never get and that makes you fall in love with him. Awww, now you're making me jealous! You get to download things fast on YouTube... I have to wait FOREVER with dial-up! so you'll just have to enjoy them for me... (although the scary thing is (I realized this today) I'm forgetting a lot of the lines and the other details in AWE! *runs around in a desperate frenzy* I feel like I'm loosing my mind or something because I can't remember some of these key quotes from AWE!!!! Oh dear! this is perfectly dreadful! ) lol thanks! it's amazing how things help when you just rephrase them. hey, I don't mind if you go along with it. (and just between me and you sometimes I'm too lazy to think of my own explanations too... that's why I like it when you get to the questions first in the A&A club then I can just say 'yeah, she just said it perfectly. I agree with her!' (and not to mention normally you do say it all perfectly )Taurquende wrote: Hey! I remember that show! Wow, I haven't thought of that in ages! by chance do you remember any other PBS shows, Taur... Zoom, Arthur, Liberty's Kids? those were some of my all-time favorite shows as a kid. (sorry, I know it's off topic )
