Elboron couldn't help but grin that he was overrided again. He nodded and said, "Watched? Well, there are plenty that could watch in the marsh, I guess..." He left the idea open and looked around.

Ruth Ann remained standing in the tree holding onto a branch as she eavesdropped into their conversation. They are not going through the Marsh? What? she thought to herself as she slowly sat on the branch.
Overtaken in thought, Ruth Ann placed her head in her hands and left her feet dangling from the branch of the tree. She usually went right on through the Marsh because it was faster, and the goal of her mission was to reach the place not linger around until she got there. This, however, did not occur in a few instances when she, indeed, did not want to reach the place but knew she had to.
Sighing, Ruth Ann figured there wasn't much more she could possibly do with this group. They were not going to travel to Frodo and Aragorn, she assumed. So, in this case, she might as well find her way to them alone. Standing up, Ruth Ann was going to hop down, but, with half her mind off somewhere else, she did not obtain full grip of the branch and plummoted to the ground.
"AHHHHH!" she screamed and landed with her back onto the ground while leaves were bouncing up into the air and gently landing back on the earth and Ruth.

Armith jumped backwards as Ruth Ann felt out of the tree. Her hand went to her sword addimaticly, then she saw it was a hobbit. "Well, Trotterfoot," laughed Armith, "You were right, we were being watched."

Alahra jumped upon hearing a thud. "What in the name of..." She hurried towards the source of the noise and saw several people, one being a hobbit. She felt suddenly as though she were intruding, and gazed at her feet.

Anira glanced at the hobbit, a slight smirk on her lips. "Are you alright, young hobbit?" she asked, relieved that the spy seemed more of a friend than foe.

Ruth Ann reamined sitting on the ground, partially shocked. Every nerve in her told her to hide away, but her body physically would not move. Ever so slowly reaching for the knife, Ruth Ann managed to touch the handle of the blade when she at last thought that the people surrounding her may not be as much of a threat as she thought of them to be.
Agreeing with the last comment, "Yeah," Ruth Ann spoke, "but I've had worse."

Alahra smiled warmly. She had often heard that hobbits were amusing creatures, and here stood her proof. Of course, there were few who ever met hobbits among her folk, but the few who did had only pleasant things to say of them.
