I don't think you should be too worried just yet JF. There's always some kind of hype after things like this happen and once they've caught the necessary people things always settle down. Just be on the look out for suspicious activity just as every other citizen is doing.

I think I'm feeling rather good about this. The terrorists acted rashly, they're plans didn't work, and no one was hurt [besides themselves]. And your right, I'm sure they left loads of clues behind as to what they're up to, etc. The next few weeks should be full of further investigations, accusations, and solved mysteries about all this.

That's the kind of attitude we should all have at a time like this. Our enemy is not exactly well prepared or efficient and we can take advantage of that. The police [kudos to them!] are doing a fantastic job being swift and thorough in getting info and putting it to use. Even though a threat still exists we can all sleep soundly knowing that our police forces are out doing an efficient job of everything.

heya all! Im finally on A-U afterwards.
Anyways, as many have requested, how I went on at the Tae Kwon Do championships.
I was sparring, red belt middleweight. I feel like I have disappointed all you peoples, as I got knocked out in the first round. i felt a bit cheated really, as some of the points I scored got discounted for no reason, and on several occasions I was an inch from hitting his face with my foot. *ish very disappointed still*

And several of the spectators thought I deserved to win the fight. Oh well.
IM sorry to have failed my compadres. My mate the Monk got through the first round on his black belt sparring, but got knocked out in the second round.

Ive learned what to practise for, and I should be going for the Scottish championships.

Aww, well you have gained the practice Mephison, that at least is good. And saying that you've been to the championships is another string to your bow. We're not disappointed in you, it's great that you got there in the first place and we know you'll have tried your best.

Thanks for all the support. And I had a very good time. I saw some wicked fighters there, and was able to be my mate Jack's Cornerman for his fights. I might be going to some regionals these next few months, but dunno
so how ish everybodyt?

Mmm.. no, I'm not expecting a hot summer either. A cold winter though is definititely welcome. I really hope we get some snow. We haven't had a good snow in a loong time.
