"I live here, or have lived here for most of my life." Aleya said simply. "And I did not come here to kill anyone, and you should remember, this is a Neutral Zone." She reminded them.

Estelle watched from the shadows quietly, not making a sound. She was glad the events seemed to lose their heated fire, but feared that her presence could once again arise angry passions. Glancing in Rylin's direction she tried to get his attention with her eyes, wondering if they should remain in their positions or reveal their presence to the group.

Feeling a pair of eyes on him keenly, Rylin turned from his study of the others gathered and caught sight of Estelle, meeting her eyes for the briefest of moments. Seeming to understand what she was trying to 'ask', he gave an almost irreperceptible nod towards the clearing, then as if to verify what he meant, he stepped out from behind the tree that had shielded him from view and walked forward, keeping his hands away from his weapons carefully.

Estelle nodded and watched Rylin step forward for a brief moment before signaling her phenoix to remain where it was-so it could easily escape should the situation become grim. Moving forward from the folliage, her wings rustled the leaves as she lightly stepped into the glade. She said nothing, but like the elven warrior she too kept her hands from her weapons with the intent of showing the gathering that she meant no harm.

Aleya thought she felt another presence enter the clearing, but she herself could not tell in her human form, for there were already so many scents and enegry that alerted her sixth sense. She then turned and saw two more forms come into the clearing. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Now it looks like all 11 races are here among us! She told herself, but she found her eyes lingering on an Elven figure that just arrived...an handsome one at that. She blushed on the inside and wondered why she noticed this. Warriors did not notices such things, or should not, but really be looking at the danger of the enemy. Aleya sighed and said, "Well, this is indeed a gathering if I have ever seen one."

(actually... 10... Realyn the Nymph has backed out. But I wouldn't mind playing a second character!)
Grageon was about to say more when an elf and an angle stepped out of the brush. An elf! That would be the one race that the dwarves hated most of all out of the rest. They had ambushed him and his brothers only earlier that day. He grumbled at the thought, and glared daggers at the elf. This just wasn't right.
"An elf, and an angle. Now we need a nymph to pop up out of the pond and we're set to go," he said sarcastically, feeling that he should keep his anger down in such a life-threatening position.
The dwarf glanced around.
"And in all the rucus has scared off my pony. Where has he gone off to?" It was one way to keep his mind off the fact that both a Lezmar and Elf were a hammer swing's reach away. Both races of which being mortal enemie especially to the dwarves...

((no, an army of evil from East of the dwarve's land. Made of every evil creature... maybe zombies too, but no plague that turns the characters into zombies...))

(*nods* *gins misceviously(sp?) from ear to ear*)
Just as Grageon had finnished speaking, a mist covered the glade the group stood in. It was a thick mist that one could only just see the person that stood closest to them. All of them could feel something eerie pass over the lake, yet none could see what it was, not even the sharp eyed elf. A clear voice rang frome either the fog around them, or were in their heads.
"You are the ones of your races that want war least of all. The 11 Lands need your help. A danger is coming that could wipe all of your races from the face of this earth forever. The evil shall come from the East beyond the Dwarve's land. Unite the 11 Lands by Midsummer's Eve, or all will be lost. It is your destiny." And with that the mist disapeared as did the eerie aura from the lake. When everything was peacefull again, Grageon stood shocked.
"Durion's Hammer be with us, my kin knew something was brewing. I had not known it would be something like this..." he murmered in the tounge of dwarves...

((Euraina-you rock!)
Aleya grasped her sword tightly as the fog had came in, even though she knew she couldn't kill anything like midst with a sword, it felt good to have an extra sense of protection with her. She listened to the voice and then sighed, and awaited to see the others reactions.

Drogo had been sitting pondering of how to make this whole fight stop. He had gone over line after line in his head, but, with each one, he would conclude that it was a stupid idea to go against any other race, especially any other race that was armed.
He was in the middle of a new thought when the mist came in. Pulling his head upward, Drogo could not see anyone. His heart stopped once the mist began to speak. He knew what he had to do, but, on the other hand, he would still perfer to live.

Tasniom merely frowned as the voice spoke and the mist formed. Lezmars did not have any gods nor did they felt the need to worship any. At first, he thought the voice was done by someone with a sick sense of humour and the mist done with a cheap magic trick. But something inside him knew better than that.
"All right, then," Tasniom said, breaking the tense silence. "We just march over past the mountains and take a good look what's on the other side of the dwarven lands. Assuming, of course, there isn't fifty ambushes waiting for me." Being Captain of the Border Guard had its luxuries but it also made him one of the most marked Lezmar.

Aleya glanced over at Tasniom, not overly excited about his attitude and noticed that he really hated the Dwarves as a race. She thought about what the midst had said. How are we supposed to form some sort of fellowship with century old hatred and enemies? We don't even know what we are fighting against, for goodness sake! She thought sourly and sighed.

Estelle drew in a deep breath as she listened to the message. How could they ascertain that this was not a trap to send them all to their doom? Yet, deep within her heart she knew that the voice spoke true. The blood of each of their kin had been spilled and for what-a feud that had long since been forgotten, lost within the recesses of memory? If they were truly to succeed, they had to put aside their animosity for each other, mistrust could only lead to betrayal and betrayal to death. "I'm willing to stand against this darkness, if it means bringing peace for our lands." she stated, her voice calm. "But we have to do this together, if we can not trust each other, we shall perish alone."
