Well, there is a difference between Ultimate treasure, and a book of a whole nation's secrets, you know? lol. I'm talking about the action, and acting and stuff and about the plot. I won't worry too much about the graphics because my dad's friend helped make them... lol!

Oh, I see we have two new recruits! :-D welcome to you, RA! And welcome to you, Anduril Vanlhach! :bye2: I shall add you both right now!

Nightingale, lol, what fun that would be! :P but, yeah, sadly it wouldn't work... :(

*reads over some posts*

I know what you mean, RA. It seemed sorta strange to me that this is like a treasure even bigger when I thought the last one was THE treasure... but I suppose what Eruraina said makes it make a little more sense. ;) I'll just have to wait and see. I can't go tomorrow (drat! :annoyed2:) but I'm thinking MAYBE next week sometime after Christmas. anyway, I have good feelings about this movie... I mean some of the people involved in PotC worked on it... so right there that moves it up in my book. :P

My brother almost got to see it... but then there was a change of plans plus my mom wasn't sure if she wanted to let him see it before the rest of us did.

No spoilers, thank you! Though, I know I won't be able to see it till it comes out on DVD. Not unless a friend takes me and pays for the ticket. The only reason we go to theaters to watch a movie is if it's a movie we really really really really really want to see... and sadly, and the only one in my family that really wants to see it... plus, we're broke. *pulls pockets so they're inside out* Hm... wonder if I can get a share in the treasure from the first NT...

Those who do not wish to read spoilers do not read this post...

What the heck was all that rigamarole with "Page 47" about? It got me all worked up and then NOTHING!

Other than that little issue, NT2 was excellent!

hmmm, if I know what I think you're talking about, Freya, I think that little thing is what my friend found in the movie that he thought might leave it open for a third one. But I haven't seen it so I'm not really sure yet... but I am thinkin' MAYBE tomorrow I MIGHT be able to talk my brother into seeing it. :-D We have nothing else to do for much of the afternoon.

Rain, well, normally we don't go to the movies much either (despite how much I LOVE going :annoyed2:) but now that my brother can drive we tend to get out more... so I'm hoping, for at least some movies, I might be able to go see them in theaters more often.

How about water? It costs 3 bucks for one measly bottle of water! urg... and ticket prices gouge people too... but I love seeing movies in the theaters, and NT2 was well worth the money. Big screen full of Historical action...

Random thought: Has anyone ever noticed that the "annoyed" smiley is looking at the "drool" smily in utter distaste?

We usually only go to the theaters if we really want to see the movie, though in summer we'll go to escape the heat. :teehee:

Page 47 was definitely a set-up for a third movie. They're not just going to throw that in there to torture us. :P

Haha, Freya, your random thought is so true. :teehee: xD
:disgust:  :annoyed2: Pinned in on both sides.

^lol, wonderful random thoughts!

anyway, when we go to the movies we never ever buy movie candy or drinks or popcorn (I don't like the stuff anyway :yuck:) we just go for the movie. And really I don't miss it and in the course of a couple hours I don't need to have a drink or candy anyway. so we save a lot that way... especially with the theater I like to go to. My family doesn't mind going to the somewhat cheaper (although not much anymore) theater in our town... I personally hate the thing. It's so I dunno... it doesn't have the AWESOME cinema, movie-going experience as the theater I like going to in the big town near us. :) Ours is MUCH smaller and it's on a cheaper budget and all that. No posters or cardboard things or anything celebrating the up and coming new releases :teehee:....

^We hardly ever get food or drinks at a theater, either. We don't go to the theater that often either, unless it's a movie we really want to see. The theater in our town... *eye roll* They need some major renovations- the ceiling is water damaged and falling apart, there are hardly any lights on in the theater... we'll go to that one occasionally, but we'd rather go to a theater in a town near us if we can. lol

I got ya, LadyofRohan! :-D

Elenya, that's sorta what our theater is like too... only not quite as bad yet.

anyway, so yesterday my brother and I went to see NT2 finally! :bounce: the only complaint we both had about it was that it was A LOT like the first one... Some parts had me almost taking double takes they looked so familiar. But all in all it was still an awesome movie! :-D I felt so bad for Riley at the start (I want to buy his book!)... but still, he's just as funny as ever! lol
I really wish my family and I could've hit our visit to Mt. Rushmore just a little better though... we were there just about the time they would've been filming for the movie. :erm: darn, that would've been awesome to be there then!
