I'm sorry the awards aren't near as beautiful as all the entries we had.

Now, for First Impressions Round 3: Return of the King.
Here are the rules and premise (copied from the past rounds):
Sort through your memories... some of us will have to think back five years... to the day you first watched The Return of the King. Can you re-capture your first impressions, the things that made you laugh, the things that made you cry, the things that made your eyes widen as you breathed "wow"?
Basically, this contest is a challenge to try to remember your first impressions of RotK, and make a wallpaper based off of that. If you can't remember very clearly, that's alright; just do the best you can. 
Rules:
- The graphic must use pictures from The Return of the King, and no other LotR movie. You can add textures, nature pictures, etc., so long as it has at least one image from RotK.
- The graphic must be a wallpaper; dimensions, 800x600
- One entry per person, please
- The graphic must contain the word "impression" or "impressions" somewhere on it. I don't care if you just use the single word, include it in a sentence of your own... be creative! As long as the word is there, even if it's quoting a song or poem, it's fine. 
- The graphic must in some way reflect your impressions of The Return of the King.
- I'm not going to force this one on you, but it would certainly make me happier if you had fun.
Deadline:
- Please try to have your entry in by January 18, 2008. I may change this if people need more time.

ahah no problem!! I think I'll have fun doing this, I mean, it's almost 5 years that RotK came out...yeah 'cause here in italy it came out in january and...it's going to be very funny remembering my impressions _________________

Lovely entry sis! And thanks for first place everyone! I honest didn't think I'd win. And Altariel, the awards really are great. They have a unique style to them and great color schemes.

Ah, well I remember seeing LotR for the first time. I was completely LotR-illiterate, I had <i>no idea</i> what was going to happen, and I watched it at 3 AM in the morning, by myself, on the floor with a tiny little travel-sized tv.
And I cried for the characters in their sacrifices, cheered Frodo and Sam on, clung to my TV desperately in the battle scenes, and sank back wearily when it was all over saying to myself, "This is the best movie ever."
It was probably one of the most magical moments of my life.
Yes, I shall definitely enter.
