congrats on your results, guys! it feels like a lifetime ago that i got mine, even though it's only been three years.
i agree that people aren't really in a position to say that exams are getting easier when they haven't taken them themselves, but neither are we in a position to say they're not getting easier when we haven't taken the old-style exams.

That made no sense to me, sorry.
Well yesterday I went to Tatton Park's country show. Tatton Park is a big posh country house and grounds in Cheshire, but for the past three years they have been holding a country show, and it was the first time I had ever been. It was a lot smaller than the Cheshire show or the Southport Flower show, but it was still pretty good. The day didn't start well though, as not only did I have a toothache, but in one of the food tents, me and my brother had strawberry and marshmellow kebabs covered in chocolate. The strawberries where like the size of cannonballs, and it was really difficult to eat. Add a flimsy paper plate, wobbly chairs not very secluded, and dozens of bloody dogs sniffing around...gah...I'm sorry, but dogs should not have been allowed where food was being served and eaten. If people bring their dogs to these places they should be prepared to either forfeit going inside these tents or leaving the dogs outside with someone. On top of this, a pile of chocolate dripped onto my grey trousers, so I was not happy and extremely concious of people watching me (they probably weren't but I always think they are).
Anyway, my bad mood eventually disappeared and we spent about three hours there. The best bit was the Chainsaw Championships. Where people from all over the world where competing. It was amazing the things they were carving out of the tree trunks. I took lots of pictures of them, so I'll post them in the picture thread.

@ JF-ish-ness: Oo, sounds like you had a wonderful time despite the bad start you had. Personally, I wouldn't bother bringing my dogs to something like that. Yes, it gets them out in the fresh air, but they're just another thing to keep track of really. Besides, as you said, other people could be bothered by them.
Soo, I went to a tour of the sixth form college I'll be attending next week. [So soon! Ack. *dies] Normally, I would be going to the sixth form at my secondary school, but naturally, they don't offer it at the one I attended. So, I'm starting at a totally different place, where I'll hardly know anyone. Fun. *kisses summer days good-bye*

JF: Thats just silly. Having dogs knocking about food eating/preparing area is a stupid idea, I agree. But that chocolate and strawberry does sound good ... sorry, back here.
@Lar: same here. Did all the paperwork and starting I think its the 6th. City of stoke on trent Sixth form. I only live like a mile from the campus so that orate. And loads of my mates are going to Sixth form, but almost none of the peeps I considered prats at my highschool, so I may actually get something done But yesh, the summer has gone fast, a bit, but slow a bit, so normal speed.
Its like 4 in the morning..........

hey! wow, it's been a while.
so, how's sixth form going for you guys? i went to a separate sixth form college too (because my high school was so awful) and i loved every minute of it. you should really benefit from being taught by people who specialise in teaching a levels, and hop you have as good an experience as i did.

Well, the first week as many of you know was downright awful. Now that I'm getting into a routine, and meeting new people it's actually not too bad. Everything is definitely looking up.

Well, the first week wasn't necessarily awful, but the week before when I had orientation was the worst. I got lost left and right, I didn't know anyone, and the teachers were anything but helpful to me. *sigh* Some people..
