And yes, it's better than no PJ at all. (although I still would have liked him to finish the whole LOTR thing since he did start it)

JF: It's about 99% set that Howard will be scoring the movies. I think it's the same as Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis. It's all a matter of the paperwork to make it all official.

It's offical, then? Del Toro will be directing? Why on earth didn't I hear about this before?  And Andy Serkis and Ian Mekellan are coming back?  Wonderful! I'm optimistic about this... I just wish it would come out sooner... but I guess it's best that they take their time and make it perfect.  What the heck, I'm ecstatic!

I've been looking over IMDB and it seems Hugo and Cate are or should be free for filming at some point. Viggo and Orlando look to be free at the moment as well. This'll be all depending on how GDT and PJ want to go about the second movie.

That would be really cool if they got them all to come back and be in it! It's cool though that at least Ian Meckelon and Andy Circus are going to be in it, that gives it some more hope in my mind.
